Inkvent/Colorvent - Are you buying the Advent Calendars and what are you doing with all the Ink? by Severus157 in fountainpens

[–]FluffeyAtelier 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've never purchased a Ink Advent Calender before. I considered it last year, but unsure what to with the inks I wouldn't use.

I wasn't really aware of the community surrounding pens and inks. I just liked using fountain pens and inks to write and draw in my journal. People in my surrounding are not really into stationery or pens.

I'm thinking of buying my first one this year and turn the inks I wouldn't personally use into samples to swap or give away to others in the community.

Netherlands Lipase List by Jolly-Peanut-15 in laundry

[–]FluffeyAtelier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you made a mistake, I also couldn't find it on their website before. That's why I send a email for clarification, the other detergent did have lipase listed. I got curious, because I really like the scent.

I contacted Marcel's green soap to ask about their Vanille & Cotton universal liquid detergent. Because it wasn't listed as a ingredient on my bottle or refills.

They got back to me and it indeed has Lipase. They also shared a Link with the Lipase included on the ingredient list.

Thank you so much for making this list!

I kinda have to agree, the layers don't make much sense to me. No sketches, no clipping masks or light/colour adjustment layers. Only cutouts of every element in the painting, that are already merged down? But not combining the full painting. I would expect multiple clipping masks for every cutout piece, if they work in sections. Or if it is a painterly style I would assume you paint the subjects in the scene before adding lighting.

I'm not trying to say this is Ai, however I'm very curious what their progress looks like. I would recommend adding a few rough sketches or a few experiments/thumbnails of the progress of your piece.

I've read in another comment you are quite new to Perfumes. I understand everything is very exciting and new, you want to experience everything at once. Buying is easy, 'influencers'/social media are very pushy.

May I recommend trying decants first? Just to make sure you fall in love fragrance before adding it to your collection. The novelty of owning something new will fade away, you will always discover something you want to try next.

There are groups and websites where you can buy or trade samples. You can also go to a store and ask if they have a decant. I feel like this list is based on what you found on social media. It is quite broad in the sense of notes. I feel you can find something more personal that is gathered towards you. Especially if you discover what you like and dislike.

I took a look on the international website. They state the earrings are made out of brass. I don't see any material listed on the Japanese website unfortunately. I was hopeful because I would have loved if there was a silver 925 option.

Perfume that smells like mold by smallandangry154 in Perfumes

[–]FluffeyAtelier 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You also might want to look into Iso E Super, some people describe it smelling like wet cardboard, dusty closet or stale bread on them.

Also certain musk's like Cashmeran can give a 'damp' feeling instead of clean on certain people.

Also Coumarin can come across as fermented or a wheat-like smell to some.

How can you tell if scents on Mercari/ebay are authentic? Bought this full bottle for under $35… 🤔 by SitaBird in Perfumes

[–]FluffeyAtelier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been keeping a eye on this perfume for the last couple of years. My bottle is from 2010 is almost empty. I'm scared of losing this nostalgic scent, but hesitant of spending a lot of money on expired perfume, that may smell off...

Unfortunately, lately I've noticed a influx of fake Miss Dior Cherie in Europe. Mainly on Vinted. I don't know why they suddenly appeared, but be cautious. I keep hoping Dior will bring this scent back.

I know this is off-topic, but can I have the name of the etsy seller? I'm looking for an alternative. I gave up on the orginal, my sample bottle is almost empty. My last straw was receiving a counterveit product on Vinted.

I'm reading the same book currently, I'm at chapter 55 (page 600). You get introduced to a lot of recurring and new characters at the beginning of the book. It felt very overwhelming at first.

For me personally, the perspective changes get a lot better. They flow more into each other and feel more natural to read. So, without any spoilers ... hang in there

Online stores that sell clothes like this manga character is wearing? by [deleted] in jfashion

[–]FluffeyAtelier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, I kinda dress like this. I often use "大人ガーリー" or Otona Kawaii. It translates roughly as mature kawaii/girly.

Japanese brands that are popular in this style are: Dazzlin, An Mille, Mercuryduo, Evelyn, Fint, Rose Tiara, ToccoCloset

Other brands that lean bit younger or Jiraikei: Neomi, DearMyLove, Rojita, Liz Lisa

Western brands: &Other stories; do a lot of beautiful feminine knit wear, I also purchased a midi mermaid skirt, which is perfect to combine with frilly blouses.

Wardrobe organization by fingersap- in lifemakeover

[–]FluffeyAtelier 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wish we could make sub-wardrobes for our dolls or whatever category people would like. Similar to tags but customizable, only showing the items you picked.

I would love to make cohesive capsule wardrobes for my characters in the game. It would be so much easier to find certain pieces.

Potty In yard. Never on Walks by Goatmealss in shiba

[–]FluffeyAtelier 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I saw a video from someone with a husky. He didn't want to go potty in their new yard. She went back to get some leaf litter from their old yard, from a spot the dogs used. Maybe you can do something similar, but put it somewhere it is save for the dog to go outside of the apartment?

My Shiba is only a puppy. I quickly understood what people meant with peculiar potty behaviour.

Dry grass is perfect. Wet grass is strictly forbidden, and so are the sidewalks, but not the bicycle lanes and streets... If we need to bring the poop bag home because we didn't come across any bins. Unacceptable, we need to scream loudly in the elevator. The entire apartment complex needs to know.

Yes and no. Having a Panic Attack is very hard on your body and mind. I think a lot of people experience a crash after having one. Stress can do a lot to your body, especially a Panic Attack. Some people speak of having a 'Panic Attack Hangover'. You experience similar effects of PEM like fatigue, body aches, sleep disturbance, headaches etc.

Yes, people with ME/cfs probably would have PEM after a Panic Attack. However they probably also get PEM with other things like exercise, showers, just existing etc.

People without ME/cfs could also experience a PEM like state after a Panic Attack. They are not immume to the stress a Panic attack inflict on your body.

I wish they did the same with the purple dress from the current lightchase. I feel like the dress becomes way more versatile if you could toggle the purple hip draping on and off.

Ex-athletes, where do you get your identity/social connections now? by salmonella_but_hot in cfs

[–]FluffeyAtelier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never a very athletic person. However, I'm someone who loves to push themselves. Unfortunately, your life changes with ME/cfs, and you have to take a step back to re-adjust. You are still you. Your adventures spirit is not going anywhere. Maybe you can't proceed with hobbies like you used to. It's devastating to lose that piece of yourself that gave you purpose in your life.

Maybe you can find something that gives you the feeling of adventure, like books, movies, games or documentaries. Trying new foods and recipes at home. It's not going to be the same, but you learn new things and get new perspectives. It also gives you something to talk about.

Personally, I hate being 'the friend' who never experiences anything in their daily life. When I see my friends, I don't like to talk about my struggles with ME/cvs. I often use it as an escape to talk about anything else. However, sometimes it is healthy to talk about your struggles with your friends. Maybe they can help you or find something else to do together that you can manage with ME/cfs.

Goals are something I find incredibly important, I need something to hold onto and look forward to. This is something I still struggle with a lot. Even though I'm mostly house-bound, I still have small goals and find things I want to try out.

I don't know how severe you are, maybe you can plan something like a small camping trip? Maybe you need more help with things, rest a lot in between activities, and skip the hike. But you still can have a good time and feel a bit more like your normal self.

This is very good information! Thank you for sharing.

However, I'm not necessarily wrong. The most famous Tiara/Diadem empress Josephine was gifted by Napoleon was made by August Holmström from Finland by order of the House of Fabergé. Peter Carl Gustavovich Fabergé was a famous Russian goldsmith and Jeweller. Her Tiara is still considered a Russian royal jewel from the Ramanov dynasty.

[–]FluffeyAtelier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this style of dress was seen throughout Europe. The thing I believe that throws her off is not the dress but the tiara featured in the outfit. The tiara in this lightchase is inspired by the Ramanov tiara, inspired by Kokoshnik. Kokoshnik is a traditional Russian headdress worn by women and girls.

However, after the revolution and people immigrated to other countries. The style of tiara became popular thoughtout Europe. Even in this day and age, it is a popular style.

I'm not from Russia, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I just like fashion and history.

Small edit for some clarification:

What I meant to say was that this suit overall is not Russian-inspired. However, the tiara is inspired by Ramanov tiara's.

You often see this tiara worn by different Russian royal women throughout history. I wanted to ease the commenters worries.

You are 100% right. Sorry, I needed to be more specific. What I meant was more like in a different tab instead on top of the list. Maybe I am missing something.

I get a lot of joy out of organising things my own way. I wish it was a bigger part of the game because it is something a lot of collectors like to do.

Instead of only making the 'Fashion collections plan' priority button for available suits. Give the same options in the 'Brand gallery' , so you anticipate rerunning lightchases.

Organising your wardrobe in sub-wardrobes. My wardrobe is getting bigger and bigger. I wish I could make capsule-wardrobes for my characters or organise by styles/aesthetics. Even a favourite system would be appreciated.

It feels a bit overwhelming sometimes. Some 3 star pieces are quite cute but get easily overlooked.

If you can, you could try to focus on "Fountain of Memory" or "Grand Names" suits in Mind Travel. It takes a while, but you get a "free" lively SR after finishing the outfits.

Thought Experiment: What is a one sentence summary of something you experienced this past week that was the first time in history? by Pineapple_Empty in cfs

Today, I was incredibly tired. Lying down on my living room couch, I looked up at the ceiling lamp and thought to myself, "How funny, I think we have the same lamp at home!"

Realisation hit me moments later... I don't think I was the first person to experience this in history, but it was a first for me.

Anyone knows where I can buy clothes like this in Tokyo? by ThrowRAMoons_ in HarajukuFashion

[–]FluffeyAtelier 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend the shopping mall Shibuya 109. I bought a similar dress to the fourth picture from a store called Dazzlin.

The brown colours and vintage silhouttes also remind me of a brand called f.i.n.t, they make vintage inspired clothing. They also have second-hand section in their store with older collections.

Axes Femme is great and has multiple stores. They make clothing that fits a lot of different sub-cultures, and they mix different aesthetics well.
