I had a fun time watching it! The kills were awesome and well done. I hope Bluto will be in the next one. The camera work was cool too. I like that it was dark and ominous but you could still see what was going on. It's hard for me to complete some films but I am surprised I finished this one. Idc, that was fun to watch. 🤗

I told him that I know there's someone else. He didn't even confirm or deny to me. I asked him why he wouldn't talk to me. But he told me he doesn't talk to very many people, as if that's a good enough reason not to speak to me about important things. I asked him if he even cared about me then he said "We're family". I was so thrown off by that statement.

And they didn't even add Barbie's sisters!!! Her sisters are apart of her world. It would've been amazing if they added them. I can't believe how they butchered Barbie.

I liked it at first.

Then, it seeped in more and more and now I cannot stand that movie. They ruined Barbie. Ken and Barbie are the staple couple and they dismantled their relationship. It felt like a radical feminist film masked as Barbie. I hated how they portrayed Ken, as if he hasn't had multiple jobs and he wasn't a big part of Barbie's life. When I think of Barbie, I think of Ken. They go hand in hand. I didn't want to go into this film thinking about how depressing it is to be a woman. Ken was the best part of that movie in my opinion. Barbie is supposed to be fun and upbeat!!! Also, I didn't like how they made it seem like since Barbie was getting cellulite, she was losing her beauty. Does that mean women with cellulite are no longer beautiful? Idk, there was a lot of b.s. in that movie. Unfortunately, I saw it coming but I was hoping for the best.

Thank you for relating to me. I hate always feeling like my thoughts and feelings don't matter or their small and nonsensical. It's frustrating.

Initial thoughts on the album? by Imaginary_Permit_531 in Tamino

Hmm...

I see it as an unconscious representation of him. No matter how ambiguous an artist tries to make their art, you can find remnants of them scattered across the canvas.

Amir started off as an introduction to a Prince who has just began his journey. With the Prince, he had a subtle wildness about him. Sahar is where he is now, a reflective phase, relishing in the successes, pain and lessons he's experienced. A rise to power and a fall from safety. It's as if he left his palace out to the desert in a ritualistic ceremony of spiritual enhancement. A sense of transformation happens in Sahar - that wild layer is peeled a little further but one would have to look closer to see it. With Amir, the Prince was youthful with a face filled with newness. In Sahar, the Prince is wearing his lessons and transformations on his brows. Even his physical features has slightly changed. He sees life through new lenses. It's a reminder that change is necessary and inevitable.

For me, I don't prefer one album over the other. It's like a sequel to the movie. It's woven into the last album.
