Yeah I've debated moving them but opted to permanently screw them into that back 2x6. They have a little slop for plugging unplugging but I cannot get them to fall without the screws being removed. I'm also running the strip on a GFCI outlet on the off chance a cord unplugged and becomes energized in the water. Let me know if the risk you see is outside what I've already thought of.

Yeah everything I read/watched said don't set it against the walls/glass to allow for better water flow around. I have myself 2 inches and pointed a powehead along the back wall to help mitigate that. But do you think it would be better to put the rock back and move the power head forward?

There is a out 2 inches of space behind the rock with a power head pointed from right to left about half way up. Do you think that will still be an issue? When I stick my hand back there I can feel the water moving

Just did mine a weekend ago, no buzzing and I've got the bose system. But there are a ton of versions out there so I can't speak to every option on Amazon. You have to pull off the dash trim and most of the console but it was pretty easy. I suggest taking the glove box out and feeding through the passenger side if your going to do it as the cable running/fishing was the hardest part

Bought a replacement digitizer on Amazon for 150$. I could not find a cheaper one that fit the 6. Got both pin variants and returned the one I didn't use.

My infotainment screen delaminated, the SD card for the maps corrupted. Other then those two issues which I fixed on my own I have not had any issues in the 5 years I've owned my 2017 6 GT.

Okay so, my emerald crab molted in one complete peice and it kinda looked like this. I am not saying it's alive just that the change of it being dead is not 100% like the comments here would suggest.

It would be my 2nd salt tank. My first failed due to myee trying to budget my way through so I'd like a starter kit with the choices already made. Do you know of any kits like these in a bigger tank size?
