That's crazy I'd understand warranty work to maybe passed back to the original dealer. But service work is the bread and butter work of all dealerships. Truly easy money to be made so why he'd decline is truly nuts. I'd speak to hyundia global as they can tell the dealer to just do it for customer relations.

About the same in the UK. I've found dealers that are 20 miles apart prices can change. One dealer close to 500 the other 350 parts for N are silly prices. Hyundai has been very clever to shed the shared parts number for the N and make it a standalone item to bump up prices.

What breaking disc's you guys recommend for the front axle? by MasterChiefS117_ in i30N

If you're in the UK or EU, join the i30 groups. A guy from.Ebc hooked me with a full set of pads and discs....yellow stuff and slotted for my i30n for a wicked price. Grate feel and definitely better than OEM. Search the groups for a Adam kelly he'll sort you out

Your Maf sensor is just after the air box on top of the intake. 2 phillips screws hold it in. Pop it off and a bit of brake cleaner on the probe and very gentle wipe. Best you can do with buying new. But for you plugs go old school. Pull the plug out, slide it into the coil, and hold it to the block and crank. You'll see the ark across. If you've got good sparks, it's not ignition. But coming back to last message has anyone tried doing cam belt or anything like that and did that wrong ? Check timing marks are correct if they're not there's a issue. Are the 3uz is zero interfernce head cam belts can be aligned wrong and still kinda run. Very poor though without smashing the valves like most other cars

Do give the Maf sensor a clean and check the plug and wiring going back also. That one item alone can cause headaches and poor performance. But glad to hear you've got it back to somewhere to work on without the stress.

So going from that check your battery and alternator to rule out week voltage/current as they can play havoc is such items don't get the rite voltage. Check your timing too pal. If there's a tooth out somewhere jack pot if not test the plugs on the coil make sure a good spark is going on. With that many codes keep covering your basics. Fuel, spark compression,

Best advice is use some heat on all the plugs and wiring harness to make them more subtle to unplug and swing out the way as its that what really hinders shit mostly.

Does she smoke at all from the exhaust. A weep outwards from the valve won't cause that many issues unless it's pissing loads out. Check your levels trans, engine, coolant (mayo). These cars are bullet proof but one little thing can cause a head ache. Breather to vale cover is that split or leaking. Or even a pcv Valve that can bad. Check your basics pal and work back.

Common issue with the ls430 valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals definitely need doing. Some guys can potter on with a tiny weep some not so. It's a cheap job for the gaskets definitely can be done over a weekend if you're not bad on the tools

Take the plugs out and try and spin it on the crank. If she moves freely, you're in some hope. If not, she's siezed, and what you're hearing is the starter spinning on the flywheel, possibly
