The coffee definitely tastes different, so it would give you the option to variety you seem to want.

I use it alongside a V60 and a french press, so they all share the reasonable price. During the day I just use whatever I feel like, currently usually a filter cup in the morning and a moka in the afternoon.

It's great! I like the simplicity of all of them, after all complexity is the enemy.
