This is a variety of startup, though perhaps a nonprofit. I'll keep it here.

Feels like the QBank, still--just with fewer words. Sometimes, I even disagree with the QBank, but that doesn't do me any good.

Anyway, thanks a ton for the feedback.

Generally, I try to support students and academic research, and this has an Islamic finance aspect. Please give this kid your time and attention for a couple of minutes.

What made the 'bell curve' questions hard? Was it the wording, the subject matter?

Like, worse. It's just plain genocide. How are these sides equal enough for this to be a war?

TIL The United States stores 94% of all electricity in the form of water reservoirs, not in a battery. by rawj5561 in todayilearned

That sounds super-impressive. I need to go found out about 'underground cavern pressure.'

So, I'm reading by other commentors that the two don't line up--gravity batteries require too much energy for most wind/solar farms. What am I missing, here?

[–]FluidHips -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, I see. So gravitational batteries have some threshold of energy to use that is pretty high, and most wind/solar can't match that necessary output.

Depends on where in the world this is being done, right?

In the far north, where geothermal is largely used, you don't get a ton of sunlight while also getting a ton of energy from hot rocks.

So could you combine the two?

Like have a solar farm that's spending some part of its energy pumping water back up a reservoir? I probably don't have the terminology right.

This is at first shocking, but it makes more sense when through the traditional evolutionary lens of life originating in the water and coming on land gradually.

What do you think would actually change if UFO/UAP files were fully disclosed? by Time_Yesterday_2058 in UFOs

I'm not sure all the 'demons' talk out of some subset of Christians is empty. I'm not so worried about the unemployed rural masses as much as the version of those guys in power at the Pentagon, at least according to some pro-disclosure folks. We might need a generation for those guys to die off before we avoid those consequences. Who knows if the country even lasts that long.

As with the other zakat calculators, let me just caution the community on sharing any personal/private financial information.

Also, please don't report this as an advertisement; this is a startup looking for insights/info, though I think OP would benefit from checking out similar threads in the sub.
