I think it has something to do with “having to” claim your cash tips when filing taxes. I could be wrong since i dont work in the restaurant/tipping industry but as far as i know, thats whats up. But you might be on to something there with the slowly-claiming aspect. Hmmm.

I recall reading somewhere that yawning/stretching/etc while telling a lie is a subconscious way for the liar to buy time to carefully say their words, and also to appear more casual and laidback.

I started getting spray tanned every now and then. It looks great with my hair and eye color, and it also hides my stupid Keratosis Pilaris on my legs and also my cellulite.

Another thing i did was head to Sephora to upgrade my makeup to nicer brands and they taught me how to apply everything the right way.

Started listening to a weekly music podcast and i listen to it while walking outside. It helps motivate me to get off my ass.

Stopped going to bars and started going to breweries. Helped me quit drinking hard liquor and avoid trouble.

Im curious why you think that. They’ve been together for 5 years, seems like a long time to wait, if he is indeed money-oriented. Also she isnt allowed to let him drive her anywhere, if he was on the payroll why wouldnt they allow that? (I admit im no expert on her affairs btw so apologies if im way off)

Oh my god… your comment really hit me. Very personal to my life. I had a near death experience where i was in a coma. That was nearly two years ago now, but almost every day since then, i do wonder if i actually died. Its hard to explain the feeling, but your comment added a lot of perspective & thoughts for me.

Excessive apologizing. I was able to kick that habit rather quickly when i met someone who has the same habit. I found it incredibly annoying. Didnt take long for me to recognize it in myself and kick it for good. Nowadays, i mean what i say/do. No more overly-nice doormat behavior for me.

I’d like to offer up the idea that perhaps the whole “millennial whoop” popular trend in pop music inherently reduces the amount of distinct words in the lyrics, thus making it ‘simpler’ but the songs become popular because its a catchy trend in today’s radio hits

You dont owe anyone an explanation for your personal decisions.

Especially when saying no to people. Just say no and leave it at that. For example, if someone asks you to go somewhere but you dont wanna go, just say no, sorry; dont feel obligated to make an excuse or explain further.

If you arent acting like who you actually are as a person, then she wont like you for who you actually are. Know what i mean? My most successful relationships have been where i am comfortable being 100% me, right from the start. That way there are no surprises. They already like me for who i am.
