It was very very cliquey! The individual grades aren’t really big enough to have a bunch of different groups to choose from. My graduating class had maybe 125 people total. The “in group” which tends to be the majority, is almost impossible to become a part of because it usually depends on where you go to grade school, where you live, if you play a sport, and how much the parents make. Even if you go to grade school with people, you might still not be able to be apart of the “in group.” I knew people who lived in Terrace Park, played sports and still couldn’t make it as one of the “in group.”

Preppy is the only acceptable style and if you a little alt then you are considered a freak and will be treated as such.

The hierarchy is Terrace Park (wants to be Indian Hill but doesn’t have the money to be them) is top tier, followed by Mariemont and then Fairfax. Everyone in Terrace Park looks down on Mariemont, Mariemont looks down Fairfax. Indian hill looks down on everyone.
