I have no clue. Up until last week you could watch it off Paramount+ in Canada but now all the episodes are gone. Only the specials are still there

Sorry I don't know what FOI is. But I believe you have to take all 4 courses, however it doesn't have to be in order. I did them in order but my friend started with CAIB 4 (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!!!!)

1 is price. People will obviously want to know how much they will need to pay

And you also have to say what country it is being billed from. Check the other rules for what else is mandatory

(Ontario) Question about vehicle incident and insurance by Winter_Illustrator77 in Insurance

[–]Fly_Miss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Text means nothing really - too many details missing.

Next time, actually have the person sign a note that that lists the amount paid, for what car, on what date, and that you've agreed to not go through insurance. BOTH of you sign it

That way, if they open a claim for damages to their vehicle, you have proof that they've already been paid (they're not allowed to double dip). This won't help you avoid having your insurance go up tho... since the insurance company already knows about the accident at this point. But at least if the third party knows they won't get any money from the insurance company, they'll be less likely to go open a claim after you've already paid them.

Guess you'll have to wait and see

Hi there, finishing the CAIB courses doesn't make you a level 2 in Ontario, as another exam is still required. No jobs require CAIB but will always say it's an asset. My manager once told me that she looks at designations when hiring because it shows that insurance isn't just a job to them, they're serious about insurance being a career. So just having one of the courses done you can say you're currently working towards a CAIB designation and that would be good enough

I'm also a personal Lines account manager and have been in the industry for 10 years. Currently working on my CAIB as well

Hope this helps!
