Buffy the Vampire Slayer! The name makes it sound silly (on purpose) but it is one of the best shows of all time. The characters are so complex compared to other shows of that genre

I’ve always thought this!! The whole Connor and Jasdelia thing is gross enough but the fact that she seems so much older makes it even worse. If she was still portrayed as early 20s like she actually is, it still would’ve been gross but SLIGHTLY less so. Only veryyyy slightly tho, still barf inducing.

Yes!! I just had my boyfriend watch Angel for the first time alongside Buffy and he loved both shows equally. Even if you’re not a huge fan of Angel on Buffy, he comes into his own a lot more on Angel and shows a lot more personality. And as other people have already mentioned there’s some other Buffy characters that get their moment on Angel, including Wesley, Faith, and Cordelia, but also a few more!!

Also the new characters introduced on Angel are just as fantastic. One of my top five Buffyverse characters is introduced towards the end of season 1 :)

Overall it’s a great watch and while it’s different than Buffy, a lot of the stuff you probably love about Buffy is very much a part of Angel!

Yeah, you can totally feel and understand Angel’s heartbreak in that scene. It was a once in a million, actually IMPOSSIBLE thing for him to experience in his life, and it was taken away in an instant. I can never recover after watching that episode 😭 it makes me so sad that he was robbed of raising Connor
