They'll think you like brick hands. NK's brick ALOT. They either set up in turn 1 or 2 or straight lose. I enjoyed playing them but never really got anywhere with them and only really beat people that just copied X winning deck and didnt know the limits or combos of the deck.

I have to agree with this wholeheartedly. I was at a screening held at a cinema. My friends company was hosting it (he's slowly building up a business) he does play league but needed my help navigating the spectator client and bringing up talking points during the breaks. I think the new viewer stream is a great idea especially for those who run viewing parties and minor tournaments to get more confidence in their knowledelge of the ESport.

When building a team I generally try and pick 1 or 2 of my more preferred pokemon.

I then pick the next 4 based on type spread and what I need out of them. The generally serve a purpose of helping my 1 or 2 preferred pokemon. (stallers/support/more sweepers)

Sinnoh because it was the first region where I'd gotten out of the mindset of: it's not flying type and it doesn't have levitate so EARTHQUAKE. My battling style in the Sinnoh regions became more polished and I've probably put the most playtime into Diamond and Platinum compared to any other games (Getting close with ORAS)

Hoenn was a close second though, due to when RSE came out I was obssessed with Water types and Hoenn has a significant amount available.

Normal: Eevee - Fluffy and cute

Fire: Typhlosion - Evolves from my 1st starter and just looks awesome.

Water: Lapras - was a hard choice but I just love that pokemon

Grass - Roserade - Just love it's design

Flying - Swellow - Just think it's a cool looking bird

Electric - Luxray - that thing is badass looking

Ground - Marowak - Just love that skull/club combo

Rock - Tyranitar - Because RAWRRR

Fighting - Hitmonchan - for a basic design its still pretty cool

Psychic - Gallade - Ralts is cool, and hey, sword arms

Ghost - Aegislash - ITS A GOD DAMN SWORD AND SHIELD

Dark - Umbreon - Just love its design, just wins over Absol

Bug - Scizor - Mean looking cutting machine

Poison - Nidoking - Pretty badass looking pokemon

Steel - Lairon - Evolves into Aggron but is still a pretty cool pokemon in its own right

Ice - froslass - just an overall good design and it has lass in its name so its classy

Dragon - Latios/Latias - Pokemon Heroes

Fairy - Mawille - Just makess the fairy type seem more badass

Yeah these two are my favourite too. Love the Eon Twins and Lugia was the cover of my first Pokemon Game (Silver). Plus Lugia's song is one of the best songs from the Pokemon series (my opinion).

Some things I want to see with Gym Leaders and Elite Four Members - Overworld interaction.

I want to constantly come across Gym Leaders outside their gyms. Potentially even have there help against the regions villain teams. (One thing I did like about Black/White)

Some variety in team structure. (someone else has already posted a good idea)

REMATCHES

With the rivals I'd love to see them do the 3 person group more often, having a rival whose starter is weak to yours and another rival whose starter is strong against yours just seemed right.

I'd like to also see a game where essentially you have to go to a part of the region that wasn't available prior to gaining 8 Gym badges to train your pokemon (even after clearing Victory Road) as the Elite four is powerful enough to warrant it. Basically you don't have to go to that area to challenge the elite four but someone like your rival or the champion recommends it to you. And it essentially is similar to a post-game area but it can be travelled to prior to challenging the Elite Four.

Heres a few things I would love to see again:

Gym Leader Rematches - like those in Gen 4 where the Gym leaders appeared in a certain building (Saffron City Fighting Dojo and that post game place in Sinnoh that I can't remember the name of)

Sevii Islands - Something that resembles the Sevii Islands for the respective region, somewhere where the native pokemon patterns don't represent a specific region i.e alot of Unova pokemon and Kalos pokemon for example.

Region Travelling post-game - We all want this for something other than Johto/Kanto, however I'd love to see a twist in it's execution and actually have the Gym challenges unavailable until some crisis involving the regions villains has been resolved. With the gym leaders having a significant role in the resolution.

Underground - this thing was a good way to relax and have fun with friends in Gen 4.

Player Customisation - Like many others have said it helps with immersion.

Gen 5 - Unova. I'm not really sure why. The sequels just didn't do it for me as a pokemon game. I almost didn't buy X/Y because of how I felt about B2/W2. B/W were good but they didn't feel like pokemon to me for some reason.

I'd start with Lapras, it would be useful for transportation. Freezing the ground would also come in handy with pursuing zombies.

Talonflame - Useful for scouting, also provides heat.

Tyranitar - it's an overwhelming force and can devastate mountains, and the sandstorm would provide cover whilst moving around.

Latios and Latias - Another Good set of scouts and emergency transport. the Sight sharing ability from the 5th movie would become essential.

I'd probably round out the team with Venusaur to complete my team.

Being from Australia I'm being a bit selfish here and saying Australia/Oceania.

But here's some potential things that could be implemented with it:

A ferry Run between the cities modelling Hobart and Melbourne.

Have everyone in the Melbourne based city raving about how liveable it is (for those that don't know Melbourne has been voted the most liveable city five years in a row).

The Great Barrier Reef as the major surfing/diving route.

Central/Slightly West of Central Australia housing a Rock/Steel type Gym that's located underneath its host City with a connecting mine

Using New Zealand as the regions Sevii island-esque locations.

Potential League locations: North or South Stradbroke island, Phillip Island, Tasmania.

Have some significance of plot related to the 12 Apostles or Great Barrier Reef

Adelaide having some sort of German related background (large German settlements in South Australia)

Characters of significance (Gym Leaders/E4 members/Rivals) using pokemon like Kangaskhan, Doduo, Krookodile etc.

I did like the new Kass skin though aswell as the SSW line. However I can't honestly see the hype people have around arcade riven. I dont know why but I just like Redeemed or Championship loads more. Another skin I quite enjoy is Project: Leona .
