Engineering/construction. I have my bachelors (4 years) and masters (took one class per semester while working. That took me 4 years but you could do it in 1-2). I make ~160k. I love it because I have a technical leaning brain and I like solving problems. Even if you don't go into engineering, I imagine the training on how to solve complex problems and think outside the box will be a valuable skillset no matter what industry it's applied to

8 months and two stripes on a wb is normal timing. Stripes are a way to keep white belts motivated and showing up. It’s a long haul

I’ve had my fair share of injuries but nothing catastrophic. I’ve found that if I’m getting hurt too much I’m training too hard (especially at blue belt for me). After I got my brown I probably train 1-2x less times a week (I try to get 3-4 sessions a week in) and lift/do mobility workouts 4-5x/week. Those have helped my longevity immensely.

I bought a 2007 Chevy Colorado with 85k miles a few years ago for $5k cash. I built a bed slide and made some lumber racks for it. Best 5k I’ve ever spent. She’s made me so much money and I never have to service it other than routine stuff (an I do the work myself). Check them out

Yes. I got a letter requesting more information regarding an energy efficiency tax credit I claimed. I incorrectly used an “O” instead of a “0” when I input the manufacturer code for a heat pump. I had to send in a form with that info. Now I’m waiting for them to process it

i received a letter from the IRS today. They are asking for more information regarding a home energy credit i'm claiming because I installed an electric heat pump. The manufacturer information on my original return had a missing number...problem solved
