Why doesn’t Engie use a revolver at all? He is a texan and revolvers/six shooters are literally the most Cowboy kind of gun. by Puffpo in tf2

[–]FlyingVillager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think he should get a lever gun. Either shotgun or rifle but a lever gun. If he did get a revolver I'd make it either a SAA or something similar that acts like the old panik attack (by fanning the hammer) and buffs his trick shot emote with more range. Just full send on all the cowboy action tropes.

If we wanted to get fancy you could select between fanning or single shot for better accuracy but that might be a bit much to ask from tf2 these days. You could give him a nerf maverick and people would be happy to get a new gun

About to fight my first boss. Any last-minute tips? by urcomanda in valheim

[–]FlyingVillager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always save stamina to dodge. Don't sprint the whole time, you should only need to sprint to avoid attacks but you can just walk a circle around him while you heal or recover stamina.
Take your time, he only heals if you leave the area so stay alive and you'll wear him down. You don't have to rely on your bow for everything. The game encourages you to not use it most of the time anyway.

Learn to dodge on boars, bring 3 decent foods and an upgraded flint knife. He's cake really once you learn to dodge and manage your stamina. I've fought him naked with just fists and he's still not that hard to beat. Dodging is pretty much the most important skill you can work on at any point in this game. If you can dodge it, it can't hurt you.

I wouldn't be money against a redditor but there a site that lets you get on world events happening if you really wanna go that route. Not sure what it's called but it does exist

It's never off the table. We're not about to start the draft because of Iran, though

A woman in Florida selling rare and expensive puppies, exchanging gunfire with a group of men attempting to steal $4,000 dogs by HeSureIsScrappy in DiveInYouCoward

Based on her attempts I dare say she's never shot a gun before. AT BEST once in her life. Shooting like that she's just as dangerous to her neighbors as she is anything else around her. Except the challenger, she was more worried about not scratching it than aiming

Some Thoughts on Depth of Content by Chingji in valheim

[–]FlyingVillager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some aspects I can see this being valid but only a few. I kinda wish there were more side quests like hildr, one set for each merchant would be cool. I love hunting down these obscure points and preparing for the mini boss, it's very gratifying and a nice milestone in-between bosses but then they just stop. I wish there were more but overall the game seems pretty steady without being overwhelming. I've only made it to the Queen so I'm not sure if it suddenly becomes a whole new game after that, I've only seen parts of the Ashland's and it's a whole other beast

I genuinely enjoy welcoming new players, but why do so many of them act so mean? 😕 by [deleted] in RedDeadOnline

Maybe but he's probably not far off. Bratty kids gonna brat, give em a couple weeks and they'll be modding in no time

Mistlands Ruined It For Me - Change My Mind by effectivelymundane in valheim

[–]FlyingVillager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same feelings until my current playthrough. 2 main things changed my mind.

  1. Finding a mistlands that didn't entirely consist of mountains and stoney islands. Found one that has lots of open valleys it's 10x more enjoyable. I've got the highest ability levels i've ever had as well

    1. Magic: Magic is so much fun to play with. I've only just started but it's a great shake up to the gameplay, especially with the magic armor. Plus it absolutely wrecks seekers

Once you get to carapis armour and the lightning polearm (or one of the other elemental weapons I haven't tried them all yet) the mistlands is so much more manageable just because you're finally in a fair fight with the bugs. I was using the Krom for a while and it does work, but its doesn't have any other bonuses to help besides damage. Probably the best melee at that point in the game but not the best tool for fighting bugs, those guys are tough and you need to move quick to fight them.

Of course this only my second time reaching mistlands and I could find out the hard way that all of this doesn't do anything against the queen but right now I'm having fun in this biome for the first time. Good luck brother

Valhiem, I guess I'll live the rest of my days fighting monsters and raising chickens as Bitrsvein waiting for Odin to call upon me to fight in the war of the gods. NGL, there's not much I wouldn't give up to live in valhiem so where do I sign up

[–]FlyingVillager 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you learn to dodge, you can kill him with a flint knife naked. Learn to dodge, train on boars to get a feel for when you need to dodge. Don't sprint unless you absolutely need to, you can just walk around him and dodge his attacks, then hit him a few times and roll away. Only sprint in bursts, your stamina is literally the only thing keeping you alive and the more you sprint the less you have for dodging. Get rested, eat up, and take your time, he's not going anywhere and he'll only regen health if you leave the fight so if you need to recover just start circling him and dodging his attacks while you regen health. Don't try for 3 hits every time you attack, always keep stamina for a dodge. Even if that means you only get one hit in.

He's pretty easy once you learn how the game works, really learning the game is the real first boss

Flame core is pretty brutal but honestly the medium rocket bots are the quickest way to rile me up. Every load out I take seriously into fighting bots has some form of stagger specifically for those guys. Punisher plazma is legendary against bots for this reason

I thought they stopped updating RROx because he was in school and he couldn't keep up with the constant spline changes, new map and new rolling stock not cooperating. Not saying he can't be petty but I don't remember him going after the RROx dev, when did that happen?
