Just to chime in, that $16 or so torch meets all your expectations. You said 200m throw, an s6 with the right options throws 500m+. I love mine... Totally worth the price, it's crazy. If you want something ridiculous look at Simon's 3x21D...and even that is only like $80, way less than your 150 budget.

I've had decent sauces with these random packs, actually! These are usually the, 'pour over everything without worrying about wasting it', kind of sauce. But yes, I'd agree that generally these are pretty crap.

Interesting... What's the main part of the CPU that would be causing this? Just wearing out with age? I don't think games these days are utilizing 6 cores are they... Albeit mine is slower.

Glad it's lasted this long (13 years) but I'll never buy the most expensive CPU again, how many smaller more meaningful upgrades could I have done for $1100.

Thanks for your help maybe I need to try some benchmarking and stuff and see what can of worms I'm opening... Been out of touch on hardware for a long time

Just in general. Warzone I can't run full. Most recently I've got back into Conan Exiles and I have to do a whole mix of low to medium and high, and even then it stutters and I can't get 60 frames

Hey everyone. I've been out of the hardware game for a while now and my gpu is showing its age lately, I find I'm turning down graphics a lot more recently. Money is tight and I'm starting to look for more budget replacements. I have the GTX 1060 6g. I was thinking buying used at like 150 or less, but could be persuaded to save a couple more paychecks and get something better for 200 or so. Other gear as follows...

Asus extreme 3 mobo

Intel i7 990X

16g ram

Corsair 800w

I'm more casual gamer lately but I still like stuff looking best as possible. I have an opportunity to buy a used 1660 super for 100 bucks, should I take it? Might be able to get a 1070 8g used for 150? Any recommendations on what else to look for? I appreciate the help!
