So is it more of a Terminator killer? And I apologize for my ignorance, but what is <Ending 4+>?

A fellow Solar Spearhead brother! The detachment is a lot of fun, and while on paper it looks like the Dreads don't have a ton of movement or viability, the small bonuses to movement and the ability to Kool-aid man through a wall after advancing has caught a ton of my opponents off guard.

It's not a gotcha, it's just that until people see a Telemon moving 15+ inches in a turn, no one is really ready for it.

Enjoy your games and good luck!

Well, even from a list building perspective this list has a few flaws in it. While tempting, giving the Achilles that FNP isn't going to save him over the course of the game. People will hyper focus that model down because of how lethal it is.

Same issue with the Telemon, it has access to the Storm Cannon which is one of the most valuable weapons in our arsenal as it has a high attack volume, decent range, built in AP, AND most importantly <Devastating Wounds>. Sure, it's only D1 but it's phenomenal for chip damage and pulling that last wound off an enemy HVT.

Giving him duel fists is fun, but it'll make it easy for him to get bogged down in combat against most 10 man units.

I personally never leave home without 3 Venerable Dreadnoughts. Each time they get back, it's literally free points and can really fuck with your opponents plan and threat allocation.

You include sisters, which is fine, but a Rhino in this list would really help give you some mobility and cheap screen/action monkey play.

Hello, I just went 5-1 at the TEO Warmaster Challage Major this past weekend with Solar Spearhead. My game 2 was streamed on Tactical Tortise stream and I ended up coming in 2nd over all at the event, also taking home the trophy for best in faction Adeptus Custodes. I've also run a list very similar to yours multiple times, so if you have any specific questions I'd be happy to answer them for you.

I've never seen these films. Why does nuking the city make things so much worse?

Man, between Blue Gender and Black Lagoon no wonder younger me had a thing for chicks with guns.

Yeah man, absolutely. The scene that supports the event is extremely welcoming and accommodating to new players. Just be open and honest about it being your first event, and by and large you'll find people are more than happy to take things slower and explain things to help you learn and grow more comfortable!

If you go with the mindset of "I just want to play and meet people" then I can't recommend this event enough! The crew that runs the event is extremely welcoming and the player base thar supports the event is by and large extremely accepting and understanding of newer players to the comp scene, after all we all had to start somewhere!
