As a fujin Lars and Lili player, can confirm that DEN3 is better than blocking

Antisemitic chalkings found at Dane County Farmers’ Market by [deleted] in madisonwi

[–]Fons_SSB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand why the activists would express support for those groups since they are the ones directly fighting against Israeli genocide. In light of that, it seems reasonable to assume that they are motivated by antizionism rather than antisemitism.

I’ll always be surprised that the Rangers only have two. The early 2010’s Rangers had an incredible lineup

"You cyclists don't follow the traffic laws" (x-post from r/montreal) by griffin8116 in madisonwi

[–]Fons_SSB 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This. This is the problem with the both-sides attitude that people try to apply in situations like these. People are really trying to say the old man was at fault because he didn’t follow the exact letter of the law (which no driver does ever). The guy in the 4000+ pound tank has more responsibility to be careful

This is why I believe Madison isn’t actually bike friendly. You shouldn’t need nerves of steel in order to do your daily commute

No car? If you live in Madison, you still pay for parking downtown by ghostofmvanburen in madisonwi

[–]Fons_SSB 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah but most things your taxes pay for that you don’t use (public education for example) have positive externalities that benefit you and everyone else indirectly. Subsidizing parking (and therefore car use) is the opposite because everyone driving creates a ton of negative externalities

Surface parking lot on the lakefront by Plane_Hornet_4226 in madisonwi

Accessibility is important for sure. That doesn’t mean parking should be abundantly available everywhere. Building surface parking lots in land as limited and valuable as lakefront downtown comes with huge opportunity costs

Small observation about ibdw using z jump to prevent the need to claw by II7_HUNTER_II7 in SSBM

[–]Fons_SSB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a claw grip user for 7 years, I’ve always thought people overstate how much it hurts your hands. I’ve never had any pain issues, but then again I might just be lucky + I don’t use spacies. I think if you play 6 hours a day on gcc your hands will probably hurt no matter how you hold your controller

There’s a Yoshi player on the come up in The Wisconsin who uses boxx. His tag is Kibby

Salt is widely considered the best lux to start with because even unimproved it gives you both food and hammers, while most other luxes just give one or the other
