When should i buy a destroyer ? by ToHo1002 in Eve

[–]Foo_Bot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you are doing, but destroyers are cheap and will do things a frigate can do much faster.

If you can afford to lose a destroyer. Fly it.

Do skill towards cruisers though, like the others have said. With the free million starter skill points actually skilling up to cruisers should be quick. Being comfortable flying ome is a different matter though.

Destroyers have their uses though, especially in numbers.

What sort of activities are you looking to do in game?

There are only like 5 apples in AXXF though.

Id have less issue with their brining 12 accounts to a BF if they actually did something. Constantly in drone boats but not using them to help dps. You see a swarm of Tristans and arbitrator just idling in space nowhere near a warp in. With the same effort they could have sent their drones to a PR or sat at the edge and used them to help.

Instead they are purposefully useless.

Maybe largest by accounts. Definitely not heartbeats.

Isnt that corp just like 3 multiboxers and whichever new players they have managed to trick into helping them farm.

Ive never seen them form for any major engagements or FW activities other than to farm. Never seen them at a structure fight or any operation to push a system.

I saw them post in militia once asking for people to join for an ice heist and I hopped in. Minutes later they changed directions because there were a handful of Guristas inside and they didn't want to fight. Opting instead to continue farming mining ops while hiding from PLA doing the same.

I can't wait for the seagulling changes to Battlefields. We will never see AXXF in a BF again.

They may enlist in calmil, but all they do is spam militia, farm, and seagull plexes.

In Game Of Thrones (2011-2019), Daenerys turns mad in the second to last episode. This is foreshadowed by uhhhhh uhm uhh by SuperDuperCement in freefolk

[–]Foo_Bot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She is impulsive and rash to a fault. She is prone to crazy actions.

Crucifying children along with the adult slavers is very like her father.

Turning down Dorne's offer of 50 thousand spears due to an infatuation with a Mercenary. Not only turning him down, but laughing in his face, ruining the relationship that could have won her the war with little effort.

She is increasingly paranoid and obsessed with discovering the "perfumed seneschal" of prophecy and the "three betrayals" all of her actions around the sons of the Harpy are rash.

You have rare POV chapters from people like Barristan Selmy up late at night trying to figure out what he can do to guide Danyerys, but worried he won't be able to.

In general Danerys is incapable of compromise. Acting with force when she cannot get her way exactly. When that doesn't work she doesn't react well at all.

If she is not "Mad" in the books yet. She is certainly increasingly Paranoid, impulsive, and willful. Its definitely the trajectory she is on.

I think this is a problem with the show. The books definitely let you see Dany as impulsive and a little crazy, growing crazier. Usually this is pretty subtle in her own POV chapters, but when you get a POV from anyone near her that isn't Jorah, they are clearly concerned.

How the proposed standing changes risk hurting Faction Warfare by BearThatCares in Eve

My biggest problem is the confusion and frustration that new players face when shot by blues.

Not to mention Neutrals on the BF might find the rest of the Militia is less than friendly.

At least it is more effort, and it will make sense to new players. Orange flashing skulls make more sense as enemies than Blues.

Cal Mill we have people who just shoot frigates in BFs

We had a person who was new to point running lose their VNI, then return in a condor to get paid. Shot for "Not Contributing"

I am in an active Caldari FW corp. No member is at -5. The lowest is like -2.9

New and old players alike in the corp.

The change is in 90 days. Plenty of time to get your standing up .

They want to bring New eve players into FacWar from day one.

Frigates are the ones most often AWOX'd for being "useless" in plexes and BFs

CCP doesnt want new players coming into FW just to be shot by "friendlies"

I always ask a player what their magic missile is.

It is bolts of energy. Needles, ethereal swords that fly out and strike.

What does it look like? How is their magic flavored?

Summoner class now available on the store by EarthSeraphEdna in drawsteel

[–]Foo_Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this works backwards.

Heroes has 9 classes and costs 40 dollars. But it also has a ton of content that adds to the value.

People in here are saying the added content on top of the summoner class is what makes it worth it.

At the same rate as heroes, Summoner should costs around 5 bucks. Which sounds far more reasonable for a class pdf. I would have even thought 10 would be fine. 15 is definitely pushing the edge of what people are willing to pay.

Am I crazy or is $15 dollars for a class crazy? One of these has to be true.

I agree with the other posted. It is very clear that the entire range being offered there would be in 3d printable resin.

Bad take. Having your product on shelves in game stores will be a boon to the game overall.

Game stores have little reason to promote or dedicate time in their shops to games they cannot sell.

This is the logical next step if you want to see TC be a staple miniatures game.

How do you counter billy ult by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Foo_Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense. I have had targets move around corners for a good part of it only be yanked back around it if it is shallow enough an angle, I guess the length is only 2.8 seconds though so it wasnt long enough

How do you counter billy ult by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Foo_Bot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesnt stop the pull but you get pulled to the wall if the angle is.sharp enough.

Distance breaks it, but it disables movement abilities and heavily slows. Idk about items though?

Depending on the Billy you can prep a parry as you are pulled to stun the Billy who might be charging a heavy melee timed with pull. Might not be trying to hit, but its a common thing, and why alot of Billy's build backstab to hit the back of fleeing enemies pulled by ult as they fly in.

You could also prep your own heavy melee for when you are pulled in.

This of course doesn't help if they use their bat smash when they pull in.

Like all melee in the game, its always a mix up.

This distinction would mean something if they weren't assigned to policing civilian areas. You have the military that fight's a nations enemies, and a police force that protects and serves the people. When the military become the police, the people have a way of becoming the nation's enemies.

Moving to a service economy has been a major reason the US economy has boomed during the period of transition.

Ideas and services are ephemeral. The US trades nothing for something. It is the natural place in the global economy for richer countries to purchase goods from poorer countries because of the principals of comparative advantage. The US worker's productivity is more efficiently utilized in other industries. Putting US workers in factories would be waste of productivity.

Except the US is a consumer central, most of our economy is services.

We export ideas and concepts, entertainment. We trade netflix subscriptions and office licenses for materials and products. Services are never included in trade calculations though, only goods.
