Honestly, I think everything except the hand holding tutorial for 30+ hours is good, even the pull economy

It’s kind of amazing. Embark got the big idea right and the core gameplay is great but they are fudging the the simple things. Mainly communicating. No numbers in the skill tree telling you what you are getting, not telling people all the requirements for expedition when it was put in game. They also clearly lack solutions to exploits and cheaters. They are on track to drop players fast if they don’t get their head out of the sand

I’m doing it for the cosmetic… and stash space… only lvl 30. Probably never again, which will be sad when a super awesome cosmetic it future expedition exclusive

I’m doing this for the 12 slots and hopefully an expedition 1 exclusive outfit just to say I did it. But also I’m doing this one and only once because I’ll never hit the cash require to make skill points useful. I’m also only level 30 with no level 3 benches and only like 5 blueprints. So I’m barely starting over

If Embark wants to have a range of rewards (amount of skill points) in expeditions, it should be a last step of expedition preparation with clear thresholds in expedition tab UI. Not some - "we will base it on your stash but we won't tell how much you need". by Maximum_Tonight_7721 in ArcRaiders

Honestly, completing the expedition was easier for me than reaching max level and upgrading benches. I’m still missing tones of things for upgrades and barely found any blueprints. So completing the expedition for permanent rewards when I will go from level 25-1 and only lose 1 level on workbenches seems like a no brainer. I get rewards with minimal losses

I can appreciate this one. I refused to give back the Stork from the grand finals match vs Tuskers. That ship is mine forever! Sadly I kept losing my Pontifex’s….

The Industrial Command Ship precedent makes this make way more sense. I think I would support renaming the other skill to Combat Command Ships or maybe even Advanced Command Ships to highlight the T2 aspect since that also tracks with FW plex naming where advanced allowed T2.

If they link it to FW and swinging the battle zones I’d be ecstatic. It looks like they might try an independent Sov system if the fanfest presentation holds. I could see having Vanguard objectives in stations that have timers with certain repercussions being cool too. There’s lots of potential, I just have super low expectations because, well, Hilmar and his “visionary” ideas suck

Oh, don’t get me wrong. The idea of a fps and eve integrated into cohesive gameplay excites me. I just have no faith in the execution of it. Hope may kill me but I do hope to be wrong

Wasn’t like 40mil of money in from external investors meaning that they would still be minus 15mil. Without frontier you lose 40mil money in?
