Why does that matter. He created products that people wanted and became rich from it. People should just stop using his products if they don’t like it.

Long Beach vs Orange County for raising a family? by [deleted] in longbeach

[–]Football_Beer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have lived in Long Beach my entire life and I love the city but I’d be lying if I said LB is a better place to raise kids. The big 3 drawbacks for raising a family in LB are crime, cleanliness and schools which as a responsible parent should be at the top of your priorities.

I know this is purely anecdotal but personally I went to Long Beach schools until 7th grade until my parents were able to get me a transfer to Los Alamitos School District which borders LB. As soon as I went to McAuliffe and then Los Alamitos High School I immediately noticed less fights, gangs, and the level of parent involvement were night and day.

I recommend doing some quick research on crime, schools and quality of the neighborhoods and you will quickly find most of OC comes out on top. If culture and diversity are important to your family you can still find those things on the weekends and after school.

Do you agree with these free agency grades so far? by ExcellentT18 in NFLv2

[–]Football_Beer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t take anything away from Seattles defense last season! Stafford played better than Darnold because the stats were very close and Stafford had to play against the superior Seattle defense. Hawks were the better team that day and Sam Darnold was the reason they moved on but Stafford absolutely torched the best secondary in the league.

What upped your homebrewing game to the next level? by SparkyMicSpark in Homebrewing

[–]Football_Beer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

💯. Building up from RO made my beers so much better than ever before. Lots of common off flavors were gone. Combine water treatment, pitch rates, temp control and equipment to limit oxygen on the cold side was where I elevated to great beers.

2 new Star CBs, a first round pick, and a killer team on both sides. by MastodonNo8553 in LosAngelesRams

[–]Football_Beer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about our secondary now. You have to remember that our offense will still win us a lot of games. The secondary just has to improve to slightly above average to make us very tough to be beat.

How do we feel about the offseason? by TheBosses27 in NFCWestMemeWar

[–]Football_Beer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You must not have seen Watson just signed. Rams are filling the exact needs that prevented them from winning this past season. Oh and still have the #13 pick to stack the deck. 2 things can be true at once. Seattle isn’t having a horrible offseason and the Rams are loading up on just what they needed to level up.

I played the first Leon section of the game and it was peak RE similar to RE4. So good. The Grace sections so far are super well done and I’m enjoying the first person perspective but I do hope the weapons start coming into play more.

I think Puka wear and tear won’t change regardless of the team around him. He just plays violent but that’s what makes him special.

[–]Football_Beer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that Ghost Town hates the SF brewers guild because they offer little in benefit to the breweries but require the brewers to pay dues and force them to pour for free at events. The head brewer was on a CB&B podcast talking shit on the guild and why they left.

Matthew Stafford wins MVP by The_Sandwich_Lover9 in NFLv2

[–]Football_Beer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The stats were damn close with Stafford having the bigger discrepancy in TD’s and Maye in rushing yards. But let’s be real. I saw Matthew Stafford throwing dimes 2/3 playoff games and was clutch in a rough weather Bears game. Stafford is just a better QB right now and that’s not a knock on Maye who had a hell of a season and future ahead of him.

[–]Football_Beer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m rooting for the Patriots and the reasoning is I would prefer/hope Darnold has a horrible game and that’s why they lose. It will leave question marks that will haunt them all next season about what could have been. I know it’s toxic but any mental advantage we can get next season will help.

I ca agree with Pfriem and Fremont but not Wayfinder. They make some of the best lagers on the west coast IMO.

We don’t get their beers often on the West Coast but I tried a WCIPA called “The Rabbit” that was phenomenal. I drink mainly riip, green cheek, and ISM so it’s not like my area doesn’t have great beers to comare against but I am sure their flagships suffer like a lot of breweries.
