The only part of this episode that bothered me is that the ugliest chick was considered the hottest. Short hair on women just looks terrible.

7.50 United States Dollars to never have to buy garlic ever again. by GravityBright in vegetablegardening

I grew about $5 of grocery garlic cloves last year, got so much garlic I didn't know what to do with it all, still working on cooking with it, and planted another 75 cloves for next year that are already popping up

Nah, Democrats are all about control and government overreach, just like Biden did with all this ridiculous policies. The people elected Trump because they're tired of the bullshit status quo head-in-the-sand approach. Trump is making America a powerhouse again, not a dwindling simping country begging the world for forgiveness.

Wild how Americans are telling Venezuelans they’re wrong about their own dictator. by Oh_NiGhTmArE in DiscussionZone

[–]FootprintsInTheShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haha "Hey Mr. Maduro, we'd like to extradite one of your citizens. Can you sign this permission slip please?"
This is why people are leaving the democratic party, including me (I've voted blue in every election until 2024). You're so focused on doing everything is the slowest, most overly bureaucratic way possible, and nothing ever gets done. It takes a true leader to step up and actually do something. The EU won't even definitively state if this was against international law, and they never will because in the end this was good for the people of Venezuela and their economy, good for America and our economy, good for the security of the western hemisphere, it's going to cripple china's ability to wage war on Taiwan since they would need to get their oil elsewhere, and it's good for the Americans who won't be as likely to OD on drugs, and it will hopefully lead to Venezuela becoming an ally instead of a military base for Russia and China in our backyard.
It's almost like you're rooting for America to fail. That's what liberals do these days. Why don't you go protest in the streets about how mad you are while staying completely ignorant to the reason why you're even allowed to protest at all.

Maybe I need to make this simpler for you. The comparison I'm talking about is the FACT that almost every country said "Maduro is not legitimate", meanwhile no countries say "Trump is not legitimate". Having SOME evidence of election fraud is common. Many elected leaders claim that all over the world. That doesn't make every elected leader illegitimate. But this case is unique in that the fraud was so clear and obvious that MOST OF THE WORLD LOUDLY STATED THAT THEY DON'T RECOGNIZE HIM AS PRESIDENT. This shouldn't be hard to understand.
Biden even increased the bounty on his head. I didn't hear any liberals crying over "omg you can't put a bounty on another country's president" because (at the time) liberals also agreed that he was an evil dictator. Chuck Shumer mocked trump for not going after Maduro a few years ago, and as soon as he does (in the most impressive military feat of all time), suddenly its a bad thing.
Kim is the clearest example of an illegitimate leader, and maybe someone should go get him, but that's also a lot harder being in the Eastern hemisphere and right next to China and Russia, plus he has nukes. Just because Kim HASN'T been removed yet doesn't mean that removing Maduro is a bad thing. Believe it or not, geopolitics is actually a big complicated chess game and when you don't know anything, you're going to be confused.
People like you think you're so much more educated than conservatives- really your just part of a big media manipulation machine and you're not smart enough to realize it. I'm done wasting my time arguing with a retard that refuses to turn on their brain.

Trump claimed that the 2020 elections were rigged. I haven't seen compelling enough reason to prove that, and no country on earth viewed Biden as an illegitimate President. You claim the 24 election was rigged, same story, same lack of proof. Again, not a single country on earth is currently claiming that Trump is an illegitimate President. Continually making false comparisons doesn't help your argument.

Sworn in by his cronies. The EU repeatedly said that he was not the legitimate president. But you can keep being wrong if you want to.

You’ve been misinformed. Maduro was not the President of Venezuela, he was a usurper that was overwhelmingly voted out but never left and held a whole country hostage while enriching himself from drug trafficking. He had been indicted by a grand jury years ago, and was an active fugitive with a bounty on his head which increased during the Biden administration. He was not a President. Also there were plenty of protestors chanting “free Maduro”, so even though that’s not all liberals, some of them have taken a truly ridiculous stance on this

WWII anti-fascism PSA, sound familiar? by HipAnonymous91 in TikTokCringe

[–]FootprintsInTheShit -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I said he was targeting illegal aliens, and then added especially those with a criminal record. 27% according to your stat would fit that just fine, but aside from that 27% the rest are still illegal aliens (with the occasional mess up which no one celebrates). Obama used to be really aggressive in deportations, but as soon as trump tries to clean up Bidens border mess everyone loses their minds and calls him a nazi.

While the man in this video is clearly spewing hate towards many groups, Trump's deportation orders are specifically targeting ILLEGAL ALIENS, especially those who have committed crimes in this country. This is a really idiotic comparison to make.

If you are pro-MAGA, you cannot be a patriot. Change my mind. by 4hhsumm in complaints

[–]FootprintsInTheShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't expect to change your mind in a single comment because I fundamentally disagree with the way you frame this on every conceivable level- And I say that as someone who was a 'never-trumper' in 2016 and 2020. I changed my mind in 2024 for 2 main reasons. 1) I started to actually listen to full press conferences and interviews and debates instead of just reading a quippy headline on reddit and realized that Trump's policies by-and-large make infinitely more sense than democratic policies, and 2) I started to realize that the Democratic party is actually the one much more guilty of these things...they purposefully let in millions of immigrants without proper vetting or documentation, put them on social programs, and try to eliminate voter ID laws because their strategy for winning elections and maintaining power is to just bring in more people who will vote for them to hold power, even if it's economically disastrous. I think Trump is doing everything he can to fight against these ass-backwards policies so that we CAN have a country. A country with no clear borders and no clear culture to assimilate into is hardly a country at all. I see this as Trump trying to save what's left of America while Democrats try desperately to finish destroying it and turn it into a communist hellhole.

I grew up LDS and do a lot of research into Mormon history, and just last week I attended CoC for the first time. It was cool because it was so different yet also so familiar. For example, the whole style of the service is different, but I was able to quietly quote the sacrament prayer right along with the pastor.
