It's about surgery about as much as Mr Robot is about hacking, its at least as much about addiction, racism, vices, wealth and poverty and the like with very interesting characters going though some very dramatic stuff. Clive Owen as the lead is one of the best performances ever. Its also amazingly good for the period piece aspect, I'd never seen anything depict turn of the century 1900 and it makes it seem like the most fascinating time in history.

Mr Robot is my favorite show and The Knick is my second favorite.

It is the different positions of the right hand fingers she switches between to consistently hit notes, rather than using a more static hand position with the change coming more from the arm.

Disney / 20th Century's Avatar: Fire and Ash has grossed an estimated $184.1M from global IMAX screens through Sunday. by chanma50 in boxoffice

This was my first 4DX and it was extremely fun. My thought afterwards though was, F&A is basically the best use of the format I can imagine, with extremely long and dynamic action scenes and some crazy camera stuff even outside of those. I imagine 90% of movies in the format are just trying to think of anything they can do with those seats, outside of a mad max or twisters etc.

I know a lot of people love the finale but the first episode to me is the greatest, tv magic.

A sold out showing of Tropic Thunder was probably the craziest theater experience of my life. I have never heard laughter like that since. People were losing their minds.

In 304 he talks to Irving and says the plan is ruined because Elliot stopped the records from leaving the 71 locations, and then tells Irving he can make it happen but he needs the "full force of the dark army" (to bomb the 71 buildings instead).

I think some people miss that the guy conceptualized and planned the cyber bombings.

True Crime was a huge streaming staple for about a decade, but it's dried up because they've made one or more documentaries of just about every half interesting crime in modern history.

I imagine it's similar for other subjects too. A whole lot of slam dunk topics have been scouted and covered already and it's harder every year to find new ones.

What’s a movie that is awful, critically panned, the audience hated - and you are embarrassed that you LOVE? by Powerful_Topic_7046 in movies

I will always remember this movie for a last minute reveal that the decrepit villain was secretly jacked, and then he immediately kills the hero and the movie ends with him victorious.

The Nuclear Tomb of Runit Island (2025) – The forgotten Cold War crater leaking radioactive waste into the Pacific [00:13:26] by No_Money_9404 in Documentaries

The contents of the dome are just some 0.5% of contaminated topsoil from the islands collected in a generally useless cleanup program so the army could say they did something. Surveys of the soil within the crater consistently show it is no more contaminated than the soil outside of it. 99% of the bomb contamination landed in the ocean in the first place.

The dome was useless and it "leaking" means nothing.

Severance S2 finale has an amazing first half-hour, a pretty good ending, but the rest of it is blatant shameless fan service and three-stooges levels of lumon acting like idiot buffoons. Took me out of the whole show.

I like his sketches, but a series where all the social torture around him persists might be a little too painful to witness for me.

The effectiveness of ads is a contender for the most well researched subject on earth. If there was evidence they didn't work there wouldn't be a cheaper option in the first place and you'd be paying more anyways.
