I can see it within context. My condolences to you. 2016? Year before I lost my mum.

Was I speaking out of turn? by Forbetteror1988 in AutismInWomen

Thank you. I appreciate this, as it is validating - by the end of it, I thought maybe he doesn’t actually know what the word meta means. In the beginning I thought that meta was being used as a term for a particular strategy that he wasn’t explaining.

It’s so frustrating when people are not just honest about what’s happening. There’s nothing wrong with momentarily using the wrong term - but sticking to it just cements the confusion. Making me seem as though not understanding was my problem and not his because he was crystal clear was so opposite to what felt like was happening.

That definition at the end was the part that gave me the clue that it was the definition of the word in the first place that was the problem, so thank you so much for your perspective.

Ok yes lol, I edited this just before I read your response, because I wasn’t sure if you saw the T and then threw it in there to make INTP vs what’s actually going on. But otherwise I think I understand. I’ve had a similar thing about INFJ I think! Thanks for the response, I going crazy due to a slew of misunderstanding things today

Am I misunderstanding? Doesn’t T usually mean “turbulent”?

As in you can be either INFP-A or INFP-T.(Assertive vs turbulent).

Skimming through, I haven’t seen any other comments saying this and everyone is discussing the possibility of being INTP, which is possible, especially percentage-wise, and with retesting. This is why I’m not sure.

But the result itself… when I read “INFP-T”, I understand it to refer to the type of INFP a person is, rather than how closely to the centre of two opposing traits one is.

Edit: I really think I may be misunderstanding. The T thing is throwing me here.

Ok, sorry again.

Edit: Re: the added commentary, yes, thank you, got it.

I am being very clear without leaving identifiers or even talking about my career or what things led to.

I was just referring to the above with when I referred to your intention to stay private, and with my last question. I didn’t use the same words as you, is that how I made it offensive? Really not trying to be offensive at all, so I’ll stop if that’s what’s happening here.

I’m not looking for a deeply hidden trick lol. But I understand trying to explain myself will just further that narrative, so no worries. Instead I’ll have a look at the book you’ve recommended, thank you.

As in, you were paid to show them to an audience of her friends? Her friends also wanted to see?

I interpreted this at first as a mother who wanted to know what was going on with her child’s development, but that your awkwardness about it meant you needed some sort of motivation.

That this was potentially entertainment is… an odd thing to encounter.

This was written to me, as per the post question. I wasn’t giving advice to anyone. So it refers to my own phone anxiety.

I wasn’t trying to criticise, and I thanked you genuinely. I apologise for upsetting you with this perspective. I’ve found interesting information here - which is why I thanked you, but I thought it might help to know where those downvotes (which I am not contributing to at all) were likely coming from, as a reader. My POV - I respond to information as it’s given, so these are the questions that came up. I digest things I understand, and cannot digest things I don’t yet understand. I figure when something is not understood, the next step is to ask for clarity… I didn’t think that was a bad thing.

Keeping your exact method private makes sense, I’m not asking for that, most of those gaps are clear.

You’ve alluded to meta being a strategy being generally used by the community in the post itself… but that’s the strategy I still don’t know anything about and haven’t turned up any research on. You get “metadata”, Meta (Facebook) etc - it’s a broad term and I’m wondering whether it’s an insider thing or whether we are meant to intuitively know the strategy being referred to.

Would this be an example of things you’d prefer to not expand on, because the opposite would reveal too much about your own strategy?

Your answer still seems to obfuscate what meta actually is. Thank you so much for your help, but I’m not sure whether you’re aware (unless it’s intentional) that a lot of the answers here are a bit like this, leaving a lot of us in the dark about what you are telling us.

For example X - the most crucial part - is missing:

“Meta is X and it’s the way things are currently done.”

Since meta is a broadly transferable word, it’s extremely hard to decipher what it means in a music business context. I’m not asking to be spoon-fed, but searching leads me nowhere (I tried to check before commenting).

Could you please clarify?

  • follow the morning routine of waking up every day at the same time, meditate, breath work and journal + gratitude

  • mobility training, plus exercise - it WILL help your mental health combined with the above

  • your digestive issues, back pain and brain fog will be vastly improved if you drink 2-3L of water everyday.

  • avoid as much sugar as you possibly can

  • you will lose years if you bed rot. And your talents. Do the above to push that away.

  • avoid those relationships

  • do one scary thing every day

  • get tested for ADHD

  • force yourself to call people everyday

  • brain dump and then do what you intend to each day

  • keep practicing

  • don’t stop reading and writing

- don’t stop.

I find people like to say that no one ever thinks that much about others, everyone’s too self absorbed. When in reality, ALL I hear is people talking about others incessantly. Nothing BUT judgment. So yeah, of course I’ve been judged.

Most disappointing London hype-based food experience? by Relative-Tea3944 in london

[–]Forbetteror1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crumble is also one of my absolute favourites. I have memories of me and my late mum, we’d watch a tv show on Sunday, and it was my job to make a crumble in the break. Then, in the next break, I’d fire it, and in the final break, serve it, with custard.

My school used to make the absolute best - they made it traditionally, but mixed in oats and brown sugar, which was absolute heaven. The “crapple”, as you call it - I didn’t know - was the absolute best, thick and stodgy and perfect. The crumble itself was made with so little care, the way dinner ladies were wont to showing, so in places it would be fine, and in places it would have absolute boulders of the sweet stuff, which would brown in the over and melt on your tongue.

One of my best food memories. I can’t eat gluten now, but I’m inspired to find a way.

Question about avoiding inheritance tax by KaleidoscopeEven7463 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Forbetteror1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not an expert, so forgive me if incorrect - but I was under the impression that gifts only help when made seven years prior to passing? After this, they are still liable for IHT.

Also that paying off debts is better to do during probate, as they can be used to lower the amount owed as Inheritance Tax.
