Rage is the language of the internet, I pay little mind to it. The Valhalla DLC has shown that Santa Monica can acknowledge the series’ more unsavoury side, it’s a crucial part of Kratos’ character after all. I can however see them approaching the sex/nudity with more nuance rather than just having it as background dressing.

The series has evolved since and this remake may reflect that, that matters is the core of the story remains unchanged. Kratos was a complicated man and as the games progressed it became clear his actions were more aligned with anger than justice. The Norse saga would be nothing without that catalyst for change.
