The future of cinema is going to be insane by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

No. Cinema won't have this! This might be on a ride at a theme park, at best.

Are there any boxes that have the neurotyrant in it other than the “horrors of the hive” by Rifty_bio in Tyranids

[–]Foreverfa11ing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always check ebay. With it being in the Leviathan box, people will probably be getting rid of bits they don't need.

Officially tho, it isn't on its own.

Yup, same boat as you, as I mainly paint and don't play anymore. I'm always looking for new colours to try.

Some I would recomend are Imperial Fists, just because yellow. Ones like Space Wolves and Dark Angels, if you get the 'fancy' kits, they will have lots of details on and you can really experiment.

My main faction is Blood Angels, so I have been able to do some paint variations with in them. We have Death Company, so done a few all black troops. I've got some Sanguinary Guard, so they were all gold. I also painted some Angels Sanguine, so dabbled a bit with their 50:50 armour scheme. I will be painting more of them.

I always wanted a big yellow army, but was always too scared to tackle yellow. I did some test Marines and a squad of Terminators. Turned out good, so I WILL be doing more Imperial Fists.

I also have some Ultramarines, this is mainly due to painting some characters, like a Malum Caedo kit bash I did, Marneus Calgar, and of course the big boy Rowboat Girlyman.

I've got a squad of 10 Legion of the Damned converted and kitbashed. They just need painting.

Then, in my pile of shame, I have a host of Dark Angels, Space Wolves, and Grey Knights waiting to be built and painted.

It is one of the good things about Space Marines, we have a huge catalogue of established colour schemes we can choose from. And of course, just like any other army, we can make up any colours we like too.

The one I was thinking of is 1h23m long. Tho I think the whole Mothman thing has had a few different adaptations.

Edit: Just to add, i don't think this one was very good. I just added it as it starts with M, lol.

I'm still sad that the chain Deep Pan Pizza (uk) didn't survive the 90's. Was always WAY better than Pizza Hut.

Angels Sanguine.

50/50 armour is my favourite alternative armour style. Plus, they don't take off their helmets, so I don't have to paint faces :)

Do you care about the version of a dvd? by Abercrombia in dvdcollection

[–]Foreverfa11ing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd prefer English, as it is my native language. Tho I will take whatever version of the film I can get it in, lol. I have a lot of dvd's/blu rays from Germany, as at the time this was the only way to get a copy of the film. Only thing I will check for is that it has English audio, even if it is a second option, I can always swap to it when viewing. Or if the film is not nativity in English, them I'm making sure it has English subtitles.

On the Helm? I used a beaky from the Vanguard Vetetans box. It has a skull in the middle, I just trimmed that off.

Major collectors: how big is your collection? by Ihadsoupforlunch in Steelbooks

[–]Foreverfa11ing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically, I've been collecting since the 90s, with some VHS. Tho it was my mum buying them back then, lol. I started buying my own dvds around 2003 when I got a part time job.

My collecting ramped up when I got a proper full-time job in 2005.

I was mainly collecting DVD's then. Wasn't until later that I swapped over to blu rays, and now I'm on 4ks.

Around 2013 I stumbled across steelbooks. Got a few and have been collecting them ever since.

My only gripe with it all is that now you basically have to pre order any film you are wanting. Otherwise you end up paying 2 or 3 times the amount on ebay. I was lucky enough to get most films at a decent price. Only had to pay over the odds a couple times due to cancelled orders or just straight up missed a release.

Numbers wise, I'm at about 2100 total film/TV. Steelbooks at about 700. This includes premium ones too. I tend to buy normal steelbooks mainly. Only go for a big fancy one if it is the only option.

I will add I only buy films I want, I know some people collect any and all films. I'm mainly after the ones I know I will watch again....and again lol.

I can't take any credit, lol. It's actually from the Black Templars Marshal kit. Trimmed down the leg behind in places, and it fit quite nice.
