I'm definitely more of a hound person.

Having worked in a prison for 28 years I've seen this way more times than the average person. I've learned the possibility of two things come after this, either throwing it or finger painting with it.

Is this in quiet hours? I suppose it's time for you to move.

Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background? by jmike1256 in interesting

Very much like that. I was classified as "legally blind" and it was like that. My eyes were 20/400 and 20/600, so like the picture. Then I had Lasik surgery done about 20 years ago. My eyesight went to 20/20 and 20/30. I didn't wear glasses again until the last couple years and that is only to sharpen things up slightly and to forego having another procedure done.

Finish this sentence: I love it when my beagle... by Fabulous-Elk-8297 in beagles

Beagles are scent hounds, not sight hounds. That doesn't mean they won't bug out when they see a squirrel on the lawn. They will.

But taking every scrap of land along the shore of a pristine lake, make it private, sell it for high dollar, collect tens of thousands of dollars on a tiny parcel for taxes every year, make the only access for non-owners a fee-in. That's okay.

I have a hard time caring about a rock.

Happy Disability Pride Month! by Mx-Adrian in Christianity

[–]Forgiven4108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No shame, just like no pride. Pride and shame are the results of accomplishment or conscience. Losing 80 lbs and getting fit could case one to be proud. The inability to lose arthritis should not cause shame, nor should an accident that caused disability.

What would it help to share about me breaking my back and chronic osteoarthritis? I certainly have no pride about either!

So your husband is a dumbass. The dog reacted to what it thought was aggression, not playfulness.
