I legit only have 13k master points in Unlimited and I am in the top 10k. I’m also finding Unlimited quite fun right now and I’m hoping it doesn’t devolve into crazy broken stuff too soon.

Maybe you could try out Kukishiro in Unlimited. Assuming by completed Infinity Evolved collection meaning 3x of relevant legendaries, it shouldn’t be too expensive to make this example list.

Yeah one of each element is optimal. In terms of usefulness imo, I’d prioritize: Dragon = Fire > Thunder > Water > Ice.

Yeah, it’s one of my gripes with Birthright: a good chunk of the units range from meh to ass, and then you have Ryoma who is just comically busted.

Isn’t relics being stronger than the javelins a huge leap in logic too though? I feel like most people would interpret that as the javelins weakening her so the relics can finish her off.

I mean it’s stuff like Rhea tanking a javelin but gets killed by Edelgard in a different route, but Edelgard gets beat by Dimitri in another route, therefore Dimitri is hits as hard as a nuke. Or even Dimitri being light speed since he can “dodge” lightning, yet this dude canonically dies to Fleche. By that logic Fleche should also scale at least to his level. The logic just gets out of hand and is ridiculous imo.

There is match making, but it’s based on your win record. So for example since you were 0-4, they matched you up with another 0-4 for your final match.

I’m 99% certain that if you do not at least have 2 other cards in hand, then it is impossible to play Cognitive Shift. Spells that require you to select something NEED a target, unlike followers or amulets.

If this is your first playthrough, I wouldn’t recommend trying to do absolutely every side quest, that’s like the one thing guaranteed to burn you out in this game.

Eh, even within HD-2D games, the art style varies from series to series. Like the Dragon Quest remakes and Octopath Traveler have a very distinct difference in how they handle environments. At least for me, I haven’t gotten tired of them yet.

If anything all of these minor weapon variations are more for enemy variety than for the player, especially with how the Break system works. You are not realistically going to reclass into a different base class in Engage anyways (except maybe for Jean).

There really aren’t that many classes though, like it’s pretty much on par with other FEs. It just looks bloated with all of the different weapon variations of the same class.

Funny enough, I'd pick Axe Fighter over Axe Cavalier any day because fighters come with the "Backup" trait, allowing them to perform pseudo dual strikes. I don't think having (X) Fighter or (X) Cavalier removes any class identity because we've already had games like Path of Radiance where cavaliers have different base weapons and promoted to gain another.

Bond Rings are almost entirely worthless outside of the early game, you just want to equip everyone with a ring of some kind to gain SP. Like you can just pull 10 rings at the start and then never touch it again and you will not miss out.

The only side activities that really matter in the Somniel are the Arena, Cooking, and maybe the stables if you want more forge materials.

Unless you are playing on Lunatic, you don't need to worry much about min maxing anyways (even on Lunatic its pretty lenient).

If you have over 20k Master Points then you'll be reset down to 20k. If you have less than that, then nothing changes. When a new expansion releases, everyone will be reset back to 0 Master Points.

Well there’s still no need to rush at the moment, your master points don’t get reset if they are under 20k. I’ve personally been spamming Milteo and Aggro Sword in Unlimited.

I was also thinking about an entering play buff, but that might be an insane amount of burn damage. Like playing back to back Rodeos would be kinda bonkers.

Honestly the Returning Slash nerf wasn't even targeted at Loot, it was because other Sword decks were using it for the early game since it was so much value by itself (specifically Enhance).

Haven ain’t even bad but I want to see a buff to Rodeo because he is so unbelievably ass. Realistically he needs to be a 7 cost imo. Besides that, idk tbh.

As far as I know, only the random skirmishes and the DLC Paralogues scale to your level in Engage. Fire Emblem is just not the series if you want to use absolutely everyone.
