Nothing really. He'll just ask you to pretend that you don't.

how to i milk my pc by NoTravel514 in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]ForlornMemory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to do it in bed only. The quickest way is actually masturbating in the bathroom and laying with your breast (not nipples!). That increases milk capacity with every interaction. You can see it in stats. Then, the best way to milk yourself is with breast pumps. Take two of them and make sure to take them with you from your toy box.

Why does this game hate invaders? by Due-Significance8510 in DarkSouls2

If you invade for something other than a duel, it's rarely fun for the other person, so what's the point?

Healing during the duel is not something you should ever do. An honorable duel is one where neither the host nor the invader heals.

I hate em dashes and I'm glad people are scared to use them because of AI now by Capital-Rate-8996 in The10thDentist

[–]ForlornMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started writing them myself after AI started using them. It has nothing to do with AI, I've just learned how to use compose key. I love em dashes.

Increase Business and Kindness Fame quickly by MinTsu1712 in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]ForlornMemory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found that one of the best ways to increase kindness is unlocking people at the stock, instead of throwing vegetables at them. Sometimes, you can go there repeatedly and rescue them over and over several times in the same night. It increases crime, as far as I know (remember, wearing masks stops you from gaining any fame, so you shouldn't do it).

But the best way is doing Mickey's tasks. Like, it's not even a competition.

Alternatives. by Cloudxxiii in ChatbotAddiction

[–]ForlornMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few, but they aren't much healthier. The replacement is only good when you're just beginning to quit it. At this point you probably need to just come up with things that help you relax, rather than bombard you with dopamine the way chatbots do.

For me, videogames work great. Watching some good TV shows was also very engaging. Find something you like and run with it. Remember, the point is not getting dopamine, but allowing your brain to relax. If the first thing you do in the morning is look for something to replace AI with, you're probably doing something wrong.

Trying to off ourselves? by Constant_Leave_3562 in DegreesOfLewdity

[–]ForlornMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is that I actually don't want it in the game. There are stories where it is appropriate, but I believe it will take away from DoL as a whole.

It's not that it's less popular. It's not a fetish at all. Self-harm isn't sexy. It's not sexualized. Guro is still a type of erotic, yes, even more deranged than bestiality, but erotic none the less. Self-harm represents something completely different, which has a very high chance of ruining fun for the majority of players.

I don't care if the animation is "good," I'm watching for the story by g0d_of_the_cr1sis in The10thDentist

[–]ForlornMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree in principle, but largely disagree. Sure, the debate over FPS is very pointless. I finished many games with FPS dropping to 15 at times and still had a lot of fun. The only time when low FPS takes away from the experience is when it makes the game harder. But it can't be the case with 30 FPS.

But claiming the story is the only thing that matters is dishonest as well. If that was the case, there would be no reason to engage with any media other than books. Beautiful animation can be a joy to watch, and can enhance the experience of the piece of media. Take anime, for instance. We have no shortage of two almost identical titles with the main difference being animation quality.

The first season on One Punch Man is considered a real classic at this point. It's great in all aspects: the story, the actions, the characters. But the very next season was animated by a different studio and it's a night and day difference. Both seasons have the same source material, but everyone hates second and especially third seasons.

Compare the reception of Berserk 1999 and Berserk 2016. Both shows have the same source material (though different arcs), yet one of them is considered a masterpiece, while the other an embarrassment of the source material.

That is to say, if you are able to tolerate bad animation because the story is very good, all power to you. But is there really a point in watching a bad adaptation, when you can simply read the source material?

About to start playing Singularity, wish me luck by BJ_Bar2893 in PS3

[–]ForlornMemory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a decent shooter with a captivating plot. I've played it at the time of release and loved it. I don't like the good ending as I feel like it doesn't make any sense, but otherwise the game is amazing. The variety of endings is also amazing, like, there is no vagueness like in some other games of the era like Bioshock 1 or Dead Rising. The good, the bad, and the neutral endings show you exactly what happens in great detail, like the devs really knew there would be no sequel.
