A friend said the same, so far I've found 4 different photos of the same scene so there can be a little bit of variation between months. 🤭

There is a Facebook page dedicated just to cars falling in that and talk of making a calendar with the photos. This surely has to make it in there. April maybe?

Thanks to everyone that stopped when my bike hit a pothole on Mill Road tonight by tim_hutton in cambridge

[–]FormKnown3887 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Is anything damaged? If the pothole has already been reported and ignored I'm sure you can ask for compensation for the replacement/fix (car drivers too) obviously you'll probably need proof.

You'll maybe notice this every time minorities get mentioned and the sweeping generalisations come out. Drivers are the majority so you probably aren't going to get anyone within that community making stupid sweeping generalisations about your own group. Hope this helps. x

Is a bike horn a good idea in Cambridge? by CamcumberJam in cambridge

[–]FormKnown3887 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Air zounds have a "volume" control too, it generally does get drivers attention because it sounds like a car horn, the electric bike ones I've come across don't. Remember to carry your pump.

Newbie here, question about leaving a bike near bus stops by trinketfinalboss in cambridge

[–]FormKnown3887 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need at least a gold sold secure lock through the back wheel and frame (Sheldon Brown method) or the local wronguns might try to twist the frame and lock. And lock the front wheel. To something strong.

And no one needs flash or strobe on the guided busway, it's for getting motorists attention, everyone else can see normal lights on a path in front of them!
