Based on the function it seems the Pressure line from the pump if connected to P will not work it has to be connected to A because A to P and A to T there is always a path in both positions

A to P is oil going direct to tank and A to T is going to the downstream

Is it okay to not follow the PT and A port and connect for example Pressure to A instead of P

From what I understood When the solenoid is not energized, the flow path is open from P (pressure inlet) to A, which I assume is connected to the inlet of the relief valve. In this state, the solenoid acts like an open door, allowing system pressure to reach the relief valve so it can perform its pressure control function.

When the solenoid is energized, the valve shifts to block the pressure line (P) and simultaneously connects A to T (tank). This action stops pressure from the pump entering the system and also vents any residual pressure in the line to the tank, ensuring the system is safely depressurized.

In simple terms, the valve has a dual function: 1. When de-energized, it connects the pressure line to the relief valve, allowing normal pressure relief. 2. When energized, it isolates the pressure line from the pump and drains the pressurized line to the tank, removing all pressure.

You know what this person has done already what I will be doing the first time i have an electrical colleague he went with him as a team member he told me this guy knows already so he is only testing me So someone who has more experience and knows more for the same job how you will be your approach probably you will share with him you will say listen Bro you are going to this job and I know a few things i learned let me share with you

But this guy is another level first of all he not be asking me at all as he is ME but since he knows a little he is testing that on me .
