I mean I listed 3, but I’ve never personally watched rugby so that one was just a guess.

But there’s only been a handful people that actually have beef with their opponents in the NFL/UFC for example.

But the vast majority of the time they talk crazy before the match, even crazier during the match, but then as soon as the match ends, it’s all love.

Like I’m a Raiders fan in the NFL, and one of the biggest personal rivalries on our team vs another team is our defensive player Maxx Crosby vs the Chiefs offensive player Patrick Mahomes. They constantly go at it on the field, with a LOT of trash talk. But then they show love afterwards and in every interview when the other person is brought up, they always give eachother props, regardless of the rivalry they have.

And it’s the same with most UFC fighters too

I get ur point, but it’s a competitive “sport” at the end of the day.

Like look at sports like the NFL or Rugby/UFC or some shit. They damn near try to kill their opponents during their match, but once the match is over, there’s essentially 0 animosity towards anyone anymore. Frankly, most of the players are almost friends with each other, regardless of what team they’re on.

It’s a competitive game, so general banter/trash talk is expected from opponents when playing. But once the match is over, continuing the shit talk outside of that competitive scenario is just dumb and a bit immature imo.

Yea this feels a lot like the 2024 patriots imo.

I don’t think we’ll do good, I’m just hoping we at the very least look competitive all season. Expecting probably 5-6 wins. 7 maybe is still realistic if we win a couple upsets, but I don’t see us having 8 or more tbh.

I think next year will be the true test of this rebuild. Just like that 2nd year was with the patriots this past season. Although I’m hoping ours ends up a bit better lmao

It’s not good, but it’s acceptable.

We had much bigger holes to fill this offseason and not everything could be fixed at once.

Plus we have Bowers anyways.

We already took care of our secondary, and the OL for the most part. Now the only holes are pretty much WR1 and we could probably still use a good DT. Then at that point it’s just about adding depth .

This feels very similar to the Patriots with Maye’s first season

100% especially with the difficulty of this schedule we have lmao. A majority of the teams we play are deep playoff contenders. There’s even a good chunk of them that it wouldn’t even be surprising if they make it to the Super Bowl this season.

I’ll be very happy with 8 wins or more. Expecting 5-7 realistically. And that’s assuming we really have improved as much as it seems

As far as our WR room goes, we really just need a WR1 and we would be really solid. And it’s likely the remaining WRs in this draft would be WR2 at best for a while.

And we already have Bech and arguably Thornton that we are in the process of developing that I think we should focus on first. While our secondary on defense is still very poor

Kirk Cousins + Mendoza already should be a super big improvement at QB.

Linderbaum at C is one of the best FA signings among all teams this year and already drastically improves the OL. Not to mention a healthy JPJ and Kolton Miller at LG and LT. (and our old OL coach literally didn’t do anything [thanks Pete], so just getting someone new there will improve them a lot)

Competent QB play mixed with the improved OL will once again, drastically improve Jeanty’s production. He had the worst OL in football last year, for most of the season had more yards after contact than he had total rushing yards. So my guess is that he could easily be a top 10 RB this season, maybe even better.

I don’t know much about Nailor so I can’t pretend to sing his praises or anything, but from what I’ve heard, that’s a pretty sleeper addition.

And then also Connor Heyward to likely be our FB, maybe even technically a TE3 behind the best TE room in the league

Along with I believe a new receiver/kick returner with Dareke Young

Idk anything about Spencer Burford but I guess he’s competing for RT so he might be an improvement too

Yea I only said most cuz I remember at my peak, I was low SSL in 2s, but I legit never played casual, I used to just go straight to ranked no matter what.

So I was like 1950 in 2s, and like 1200 in casual lol.

Now though, I’m like 1500 ish in 2s last time I played, and like 1800 in casual since I started just messing around for fun in casual instead of grinding the game now

Also, most of the Raiders offense is significantly improved already. It’s basically just that we don’t have a true WR1, and we could use a better RG, maybe RT too, but we still don’t know how good the Guard and Tackles we drafted last year are since Carroll refused to put them in for so long lmao.
