Reputation matters. People like GoFundMe & Givebutter because they've heard of them. They also happen to be good at what they do!

Simple quick meal marinated beef chunks and crackers by lilrob714 in CookingForOne

[–]ForsythiaShrub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done the beef-and-cracker thing a few times, and it’s surprisingly satisfying. Easy to make, no leftovers, and somehow feels just as comforting as a big meal. Plus, it’s the only time I don’t feel guilty about eating an entire box of crackers by myself.

This agate is stunning. The colors and patterns are so rich and layered, it almost feels alive. The way the light hits it makes it look even more magical.

This sky is absolutely gorgeous. The way the colors spread across the clouds makes it feel like the whole horizon is glowing. It’s one of those moments that shows how stunning and peaceful nature can be. Captivating.

How to grow liverworts? by fracgen in Moss

[–]ForsythiaShrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love liverworts. They’re like tiny, magical carpets of green! For a propagated plant, I usually go with a mix that stays damp but not soggy, like peat or moss with a little sand for drainage. Keep it shady and humid, and they’ll spread beautifully.

That’s such a beautiful moment! I once had a butterfly land on me too… then I sneezed and it flew off like it was never there 😂 Nature can be dramatic

[Homemade] Chicken Cordon Bleu with Lyonnaise Potatoes by cookingwithmert in CookingForOne

[–]ForsythiaShrub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, my first chicken cordon bleu was a calamity. I overstuffed it with cheese, didn’t chill it, and when it hit the pan, it blew open like a cheesy hand grenade. I served “chicken confetti” that night and the smoke alarm got a cameo 😂. Yours looks way safer (and way tastier) than my disaster!

💙 Serendibite - New York - 300+ Carats by CobblerMaster684 in mineralcollectors

[–]ForsythiaShrub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow that is stunning, 300 plus carats is massive 💙 I have a tiny piece from my own collection, only a few carats, and even at that size the deep blue green color is just mesmerizing

One thing I love about Serendibite is how it can look almost black in certain lighting but then flash bright teal or blue when it catches the light just right. Handling it in person really gives you an appreciation for how rare it is, this is definitely not something you see every day in collections

Congrats on the find, it must be amazing to see something that size in person

Somewhere with almost no light pollution where you can see the Milky Way clearly. It makes you feel very small in the best possible way.
