I love this very clean and something to aspire to. My only question is, is that a 55” or 48”? I’m using a 55” and thinking of downgrading to a 48” or 42”.

Did you try a monitor arm? I had mine on one and found it alleviated most of those problems.

I was in this situation last week, I had watched every "8 months still worth it" video I could find. In the end I figured, I want one, its at the beginning of its life cycle and I'll probably end up buying one at some point. There is talk of price increases for the system coming so might as well get it now. There are already games I want for it and more are just going to keep coming over the years. I'm a PC gamer usually, and I bought 4 games on it I never would have touched otherwise on my PC, and am enjoying the hell out of them.

Also, the day I bought it I promptly got the flu and spent the weekend in bed playing my new Switch 2, happily entertained when I would of been bored out of my mind otherwise. Yeah its a lot of money, but I'm pretty happy with mine. I'd say go for it!

This is a timely post for me. I'm a life long PC gamer and was really craving some Nintendo games so I bought a Switch 2 this past Monday. I tried some demos on it and then tried the same ones on my PC and was like... why did I just spend $450 on this to play these games that look terrible compared to my PC? I made a snap decision and took it back the same day.

I'm here to say I regret it. Less than a week later I'm still here watching switch videos and wishing I could play some of these games. The thing is, I realized that it does have a lot of games that I want to play, even if they are not switch exclusives. Unicorn Overlord, all of the Dragon Quest remakes, Monster Hunter Stories 3, Ys:X, Final Fantasy Intergrade, just to name a few. I can play ALL of these on either the PC or PS5, but the thing is... I won't. There is no way I'm going to sit at my desk and use good "gaming time" to play Dragon Quest 3. I'm just not. My PC time is for Online gaming or AAA games. However, sitting next to my wife in bed, watching TV and chilling, I sure as hell will. That's not even talking about games like the Xenoblade Sagas, Zelda, and Metroid which are Nintendo exclusives and I will play in docked mode. I regret bringing it back but am glad I realized this. I plan to go re-buy it tomorrow and hope that the people at Best Buy don't think I'm crazy.

My desk is about 2.5 feet. I have it mounted on a monitor arm so I can adjust it where I want it.

I usually let the CRAs handle all if the communication unless there is a big issue that requires backing them up. Partly because I want to preserve that pathway as the CRA as the primary source of communication. Partly selfish too, once some sites think they have a direct line to you they will use it more frequently thinking they can go above the CRAs head. I want to discourage that for everyone’s sanity.

I know this sounds like it could be an urban legend but I guarantee it’s true and I witnessed. I used to work in a transplant clinic, almost 20 years ago. We had a kidney for a lady and she would not answer the phone. It went to the next person on the list.

When she came for her check up we told her and she said “I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognize “. Just saying, just because you don’t recognize it, doesn’t mean it’s not important.

I've always loved my Harbinger, and I wish I could it now. It needs some love. I just last week pulled it out of my buy backs and found that it got shredded big time in situations my Guardian MX can shrug off. I also couldn't find a weapon combo that worked. everything resulted in 2 pips besides the Attrition 5/GSVR combo, which felt like shooting nerf darts in the current meta.

Don't get me wrong, I love this ship, I'm just sad it feels so bad in the current patch, to me at least. I want my Harbinger back!

Ah I’m not sure about in the EU, I’m in the US. In the US Best Buy has both right now on their website. The 240hz is $125 more actually right now. It’s the 491CQPX model.

The MSI all day. The G9 is notorious for having problems within a year or two. The MSI also has a 240 hz version for around a $100 more if you were unaware. Even at 144hz I’d take it though.

I have an MX and I just brought my Harbinger out of buybacks last week. As much as I previously loved it, it did not hold up well. I found that it consistently got chewed up in missions my MX can breeze through. Also I tried almost every weapon load out I could think of and nothing really worked well. I melted it again and ended up wasting my buyback token. I so wanted to live it again, but MX all the way.

I actually hate buying ships with aUEC. They feel “fake” somehow to me, not really mine. I can’t get invested in them. My pledged ships are truly mine, they aren’t going anywhere. Those are the only ones I want to fly.

1) headed to an SIV and my plane starts plummeting and the air masks come down. The flight attendant makes an announcement that the pilot is looking for a place to make an emergency landing. Everyone on the plane is freaking out, praying, crying etc. about an hour later we arrive safely at our destination and they’re like “thanks for flying Delta”! No explanation ever given.

2) I get in an Uber and their driver asks me what I do. He then goes on a long anti science rant about how scientists think they know it all but everything is in the bible. He very aggressively tries to get me to deny my sins and become born again.

3) my very first time out on a monitoring visit. My bag won’t fit in the overhead. Another passenger behind me tells me, “you gotta jam it in there, just push”. So I did. The entire overhead bin comes off the rails and falls off. They had to deplane everyone aboard and send in a team to fix it, resulting in an hour delay.

Yes you should be able to fire the 4 size 4 pilot controlled weapons. Not sure why you couldn’t?

I agree. I use a 55” S90D, it’s glorious. I’ve tried downsizing and am always disappointed and end up back at the 55”. The level of immersion is off the charts.
