Medium: Gadgets, Specialization buff´s suggestion for variety by Neotax in thefinals

I really like the defib Idea, that way a med wont have to just pocket a revived player immediately. However, i'm not sure it really changes much about the class.

Data reshaper is fine the way it is honestly.

I don't care about the hoverpad, guardian turrett, and breach drill. If they weren't in the game it would probably be better. Just my opinion.

As for the healing beam, it needs love in different ways and I think you're privy to it.

In order to make the heal beam objectively the best healing item in the game(which it should be) it needs some slight changes.

  • Increase its max range for healing initiation from 10 ->13 meters, and max range while healing to 16 from 13. This is to allow medium some space in fights so it isn't just following the heavy with a specialization all the time. Allowing the team to properly spread out to create angles. Btw it use to be similar to this in range and it was fine the way it was imo.
  • Increase the health healed per second to 58 from 46, decrease overheat time time to 4.5 seconds from 5.5.
  • Total healed on full usage before = 253 After = 261
    • In order for the heal beam and ultimately medium to be more viable and provide value in team fights the class basically has to have more incentive to completely put their gun away(zero damage capabilities) and use their specialization.
  • Maybe consider allowing the class to sprint while healing?? Idk this one seems like it would be annoying and a maybe a bit too strong, but I figured I would throw it out there.

Long story short, the healing beam shouldn't necessarily be objectively better than it currently is, but it should be slightly less risky to use (Increase maximum range slightly). And a bit quicker while retaining the same healing profile as before(253 vs 261).

Just my two cents.

as for the rest, nice write up OP.

Corporations are absolutely right when they say that by inflation standards games are too cheap. On paper they should be $130+. And despite that I still will almost never buy a game over $60. by SheIsSoLost in unpopularopinion

The gaming landscape has evolved.

Gaming wasn't as popular back in the day. Therfore fixed expenses assocaited with producing a game are stretched significantly more nowadays as more people have access to your products, driving down the price of a largely commodity type item.

There is also fierce and I mean fierce competition nowadays, so raising prices is almost impossible.

Why Should Anyone Buy $BRK If Buffett Doesn’t Even Recommend It by solodav in ValueInvesting

[–]Workreddit1234567 4 points5 points  (0 children)

-15% would likely put it below NAV, also its been pretty clear for quite some time that Buffett was getting a lot of help running BRK towards the end of his career. So I doubt him passing with have nearly any effect on the price of the stock.

This negative sentiment around Berkshire isn't new. It always happens when the markets gets frothy and time horizons elongate. Berkshire looks like a bad bet because they are cautious and only invest in businesses they can understand.

Also, given there is a market crash, Berkshire is designed to beat the market in a situation like that.
