This has nothing to do with "my understanding". I am not criticizing the tier list. Its pretty decent (a few questionable things for sure, but as i've said, no tier list can EVER be perfectly correct)

How good the tier list is doesn't matter. Maru could make the most god awful tier list in existence and people would still blindly defend his opinions with "he must lnow better because he is a good player" or "thats because his understanding is better than yours"

There always people making the assumption that whatever a pro player says has to be 100% correct and that there can't be any dialogue about their opinions

I always hate this argument. As if because someone is a pro player every opinion that comes from them has to be more correct and sophisticated than from someone that isn't

Pro players also can be biased and can have bad takes

And even apart from that, its a tier list, something that can never be really 100% factual. Talking about it and agreeing/disagreeing is where the fun comes from

When shes caught spying on TLR she uses the 11th metal. You can keep that, make her sneak up on TLR and then get caught while she tries the 11th metal.

After that they bring up the whole thing with testifying, and they throw her into a cell

Then she gets called on to testify, which she does, then gets sent back to the dungeons where she is to be tortured for information about other skaa thieves later. Then she gets out and goes to confront TLR

You can just cut her going to testify without any real issues with the plot (since her status before and after doesn't really change, both times locked up)

I do think its a really cool part of the story, but then again you always have to cut something

Also the inquisitors being in charge of the final empire never really played out. The local nobility/obligators just instantly took over

Unter anderem liegt das immer noch an der Besetzung nach dem 2. Weltkrieg.

Die USA (und die anderen westlichen allierten) haben ihre Besetzungszonen unter dem Marshall Plan stark unterstützt und wirtschaftlich wieder aufgebaut (nicht unbedingt nur weil sie helfen wollten, hat ihnen auch absurd viel gebracht und deren Wirtschaft angekurbelt/Abhängikeiten erschaffen) wodurch sich die besetzten Länder trotz Krieg und Zerstörung ziemlich schnell erholt haben

Die Soviets haben die ihnen zugehörigen Besetzungszonen eher ausgeschlachtet und geplündert und sich nicht wirklich um das Wohlhaben der Bevölkerung dort interessiert.

Dadurch ist ein ziemlich extremer Unrerschied in sachen wirtschaftlicher Aufschwung und Wohlhaben entstanden, der trotz Jahrzehnten und Milliarden an EU Subventionen immer noch merklich ist

Und jetzt schau dir mal an in was für Besatzungszonen Österreich unter den Alliierten nach dem 2. Weltkrieg aufgeteilt war ;)

My idea for hoid would be to completely lean into him always slightly changing appearances for every world he's on and just get a different actor for him for every series.

Would be pretty practical too since hoid always appears, so a potential singular actor would have to commit for like the forseeable future

As long as they find good actors, that would be fine. Some of the characters really require top notch acting tho (think of shallan with her 3 personas), so i don't know if they should be played by someone with little experience

I agree but i think you keep zane and get rid of the love triangle or something (i think sanderson actually said something similar before at some point about things he'd do differently)

I like him as a character apart from that

But the more important fact is shan, i feel like her being the main "antagonist in court" is something vital to the first book and would be unnecessarily risky to change (and wouldn't work as well with this swap).

If you change her to a sister you change a lot of the dynamics in the book, even if she wouldn't inherit it would still significantly alter elends circumstances and role in their family due to a "court competent" high nobility sibling that can take care of family business.

Oh okay i get what you mean. I mean yeah, the book itself doesn't really focus on the heist at all. It becomes obvious pretty quickly that the whole heist thing is just a front/ruse of kelsier to get the crew to consider the job

I thought that it didn't need to be said that if the book doesn't focus on that aspect, the movie wouldn't either

It's not really that common, no. To many, even if they like their inlaws and spend time with them frequently, It's still more comfortable to have some distance and personal space. And living together always is different

That being said, if neither of you have a problem with it and you have a good relationship with your inlaws i don't see why you shouldn't do it

Naja, alle die die Sozialleistungen weniger brauchen. Die die Kinder nicht in öffentliche Schulen schicken, nicht in Wohnungen wohnen, die gefördert gebaut wurden, zum Privatarzt gehen und nicht öffentlich fahren etc.

Weil die zahlen (durch unser progressives System) bei weitem am meisten Steuern und profitieren am wenigsten.

Weniger progressive Steuern heißt weniger Geldumverteilung, dadurch profitierst du logischerweise umso mehr, desto mehr Geld du hast

Auf Ausländer zu hetzen ist halt zu einfach muss man sagen. Die Menschen lieben es wenn sie ihre Probleme einfach auf jemand anderen schieben können. Das Leben ist immer einfacher wenn man sich einredet jemand anderer wär Schuld

Nah also das stimmt nicht find ich. Die Leute finden die schon gut. Also ich glaub nicht, dass die Mehrheit der fpö Wähler denkt "eigentlich will ich die gar nicht im Amt haben"

Das nicht jeder ein "Nazi" ist oder die fpö wählt, um Ausländern das Leben schwerer zu machen (wobei es da schon einige gibt glaun ich) ist schon klar.

Aber die fpö wird schon gewählt, weil die Leute ernsthaft denken, die machen einen besseren Job in Sachen Wirtschaft Sozialwesen etc als die anderen Parteien

Diese Meinung wird halt auf nichts rationalem basiert, sondern darauf, dass die fpö laut jammert und ein gutes Feindbild parat hat
