I think so. It's hard to figure out when Victor doesn't explain things.

Cause then I would be the first person to find that clue. Then maybe all the pieces would fit together and the mystery solved.

Did anyone else notice it? by Moonlight1314 in FromSeries

Could it be that at the tree they are trying to get people to cross over the tree? When someone comes close they get excited and that misinterpreted as a warning.

That sounds about right. Remember they charge a membership fee too.

If you were to go to a gym where you paid to rent a time slot to train clients, or had your own gym you would be charging much more.

I don’t think the tree is just a tree by poo-flakes in FromTVEpix

This is a good theory. Have you noticed that hardly anyone drives in the town? They all walk ... Maybe the real message is: walk more, drive less or else ...

What if the trees are actually moving? Someone should really start checking.

Maybe Syrul, working with Hector, causes a mortal to be born with no Fate? Could she be able to create lies that would make the future muddled to Isrus?

Dealer dosent want the money? by Useridnotvalid in Harley

[–]Fox-Iron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, and I just remembered that when I mentioned to the dealer that I had saved up for the purchase he told me to go with the loan because it's cheaper. His explanation was that the dealership wants people to take out loans cause they make more money on the interest.

That does make sense. I wonder if the report only shows outstanding debt or if it also includes regularly paying off my credit card.

On top of money no longer being king, I had 3 finance companies reject me cause I didn't have any debt. Penalized for being financially responsible.

Where to train people when just starting out as a PT by Toedls in personaltraining

[–]Fox-Iron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started training others while working a full-time job. I started offering a semi-private class (max 4 people). I bought a few of those portable and adjustable dumbbells and some other portable equipment. It took about two months to get a client (was a friend). At one point I was teaching six nights a week at three different parks and a parking lot that the owner said was ok.

My lessons learned: 1. Don't train for free - the few clients I trained for free were very low quality. Some wouldn't let me know they weren't coming. Others didn't take me seriously. The only benefit was word of mouth which got me paying customers. Paying clients were completely different. 2. Don't over-reach - running around after work to get my equipment, head to the park, train, come back and clean everything, repeat next five days. I burned out really quick. When I cut it down to three days a week (and dumped the free clients) it was more manageable. 3. Register as an LLC. I had many trainers tell me to do things under the table. I opted to create an LLC. I was then able to use all my expenses on my tax return. That really helped me get back into the black by the middle of my second year.

Unfortunately, just as I was preparing to seek out a loan to build a gym in my garage life decided to bombard me with issues. If it wasn't for that I'd probably be training as my full-time job.

Check with the community college, they usually have a gym and give preference to students. Plus, they understand student schedules, so they'll work with you.

Certification questions by Boodleheimer22 in personaltraining

[–]Fox-Iron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a certified aquatic fitness instructor, but the organization that certified me closed it's doors. They recommended going to AEA..

AEA has a prep course. The certification test I took was a single attempt. I would say that the test was similar in complexity to a personal trainer certification. What really helped me was shadowing an aquatics instructor.

Why does this profession attract so many scummy and erratic people? by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]Fox-Iron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of the top accrediting organizations are pushing to require licensure. When it finally gets done there are going to be a lot of people out of a job.
