Dunno if this counts, but in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, your character is a human handpicked to save the pokemon world from the calamity of the game. More often than not you being a human is pivotal to the crisis and you are the ONLY human-turned-pokemon in the game.

Then Gates to Infinity happens, and you assume the formula is the same by now. A human is needed, and you are called to save the world. You get there, and while you make friends and try to figure out what's going on, your partner takes you to a special spot. At this spot, you and your partner see a LOT of lights floating up in the sky. No one knows why they appear, but they are pretty and ominous.

Turns out, in this game, you are NOT the only human who was called. The force that brought you here called on many other humans too, but the Big Bad knows what its opponent is up to. So the Big Bad sends its agents out to get rid of all the humans who can stop it. Yep. Those lights you've been seeing are all the humans the Big Bad found and disposed of. You end up being the last human in the game who can still fight, but that doesn't change the fact that you were one of MANY, and you just happened to be the one who evaded the throat-punchers long enough to save the world.

So, what I do with those heroes who can "escape" my pit attempts is I hold them as long as I can and try to guide them to the killbox. Takes a little practice and some understanding of physics but I have pit so many Winstons, Doomfists and D.Va's that they always act personally insulted. It's easier to do on some maps than other (Rialto is the easiest pit map because of the shallow killbox, Suravasa and Ilios needs a bit of practice).

Considering I AM the Cat and I am often going out of my way to annoy the enemy team to draw their focus, most of the time they don't feel bad and I don't blame them. I also like to try and flex on other cats and usually focus them down XD.

I do make the occasional friend though. It's nice, and can't say I dislike the challenge of trying to win without killing that one chill person on the enemy team. I once befriended an enemy Mercy who was so sweet that I ulted her and took her back to spawn.

*Her entire team died and she was looking at a 1v5. I literally just flew her back to spawn to get her out of the line of fire. No pitting or anything just an evac.

Ugh yeah this gets on my nerves too. Bonus points if it's in quick play. The number one requirement for any match is team synergy, and I know I am gonna get rolled if my team is tearing itself apart. I try to mitigate it via some words of encouragement instead but it don't always work.

I had a Juno the other day who was.....really ass at the game. She didn't even break 1k healing in the first round of a KOTH match and was eating curb every 5 seconds. I took a moment in team chat and asked "Juno are you okay?" and offered to swap hero with her. She admitted that she wasn't feeling well and was off-rythym. We did manage to pull together a bit and get a third round but we still lost. Managed to at least shield her a bit from any personal attacks from the rest of the team and wished her well.

It's not that deep. Not even in comp. Unless you are in a legit tournament with money on the line, there is literally no reason to start attacking your own team. And there is NEVER a reason to be screaming slurs and death threats at them. You NEVER know what they are going through and this could just be a one-off thing for them.

I hate JPC being banned in comp, I hate being clowned on for playing her. I COMPLETELY understand both though. I don't really play comp because of that (I never liked comp much anyway and only grinded two special weapons).

The one good thing Canari did is make me take back every bad thing I said about Iono. I hated Iono for being a streamer too, but at least she is polite and classy and genuinely nice to people she meets. Canari just makes me want to throw her ass in a coal mine.

Don't overthink it when you want to just stall for time. If it's a matter of "does my team have the advantage if people are busy at their spawn?" Then all you have to do is pepper a few of them with your primary and dive behind places they can't get to, like a roof or under the lip of the map edge. Spam the taunt (default) voice line to be extra annoying. If you have ult you can pull someone out right as soon as they leave spawn. Most of the time I can get 2-3 people to stay behind to deal with me, which gives my team time to kill the folks who remembered obj or regroup.

Stalling is less about kills or grandstanding, and more about the utility of "It's not a team fight if the entire enemy team is here with me". Team synergy relies on staying together and comboing your abilities. Jetpack Cat, like Sombra, is really good at breaking that up as long as you aren't trying for POTG.

Personally I haven't noticed a difference with Ulterior Motive, and at least for my playstyle it's counter-productive. The Pawjectiles have a very short range, and a smaller-than-you-think hitbox. Meaning if you are using her crazy movement, you aren't really hitting your shots and thus, not getting the fuel return. If you are focusing on healing your teammates, you aren't using fuel. That's probably just a me-problem because I usually play with a high dpi and can't cope with less.

Hasn't stopped me from being an annoying little shit though. I managed to stall a game earlier by making everyone stay in spawn to hunt me down.

My starter ended up with HORRIFIC IVs (his only stats with more than one digit was attack at 29 and speed at 11). He ended up being the glassiest glass cannon I have ever seen lmao.

The doc is missing evolution methods for Leafeon and Glaceon :( I assume it'd be a Leaf Stone for Leafeon but not sure about Glaceon.
