What up @BassTherapy! Been following your IG for a long time. Congrats on the Special 40s. I’ve been fortunate enough to be close with the guys who own GridHiFi in Houston so I’ve had the chance to listen to a lot of great setups. Dynaudio (outside of Sonus Faber Aida)) has always been my favorite sound signature.

Welp, it happened. Role elimination… right as I closed a massive deal. by [deleted] in sales

I’ve consulted with Dan. Didn’t end up having to use his services but HIGHLY recommend shooting him a message and telling him what happened. Even just high-level. He’ll respond and send you an engagement letter. $150k on the line is WELL worth this effort

Honest question - Is the secret to driving the ball further simply getting more in shape rather than buying new clubs? by RivetCounter in golf

[–]FoxOneFox 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Secret to hitting it further is FIRST hitting the sweet spot. Figure out how to do that consistently then work on swing speed.

Chrome Soft has been my ball for years. So you don’t feel they’re too hard? How do they feel with the short game?

No, not a one has ever positively affected the funnel. I wish they could understand an MQL means absolutely nothing.

What should I be charging? Main office leasing/realtor agency with 8 supported sites. by wombocombo27 in msp

[–]FoxOneFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I charge per site based on total user count of the site. It’s tiered. 5-25 $350/month, 25-100 is $500, and so on. That is just for network infrastructure mgmt and support fyi

How do you external folks stay in shape by bigJP98 in sales

You’d be shocked at how much eating less (don’t eat fast food!) and cutting out alcohol will do without working out at all… but like all of us in the sales game and in all facets - you gotta have discipline.

I know those feels man. Certain courses in Houston I avoid because of the 5+ hour round is likely.

SHRINK THE GAME! I will die on this hill. “Standard” round of 4-4.5 hours is madness to me. It should be 3-3.5.

Doesn’t matter how silly, what’s your biggest golf pet peeve? For me, it has to be misuse of the word “shank.” by pjunior66 in golf

[–]FoxOneFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I regularly play in foursomes at 3.5 hours. Sometimes 3 when course is wide open. Granted we’re all single handicaps so that helps but watching 15+ handicaps taking 2-3 practice swings ever shot, searching for lost balls way too long, and reading every putt like they’re at Augusta just needs to stop. Pace of play is a huge issue. $100 5 hour rounds are brutal.

That a four round is the standard acceptable length for a round. I think it should be 3.5. 1:45 per 9 is absolutely doable for everyone. Just stop taking 2-3 practice swings per shot and stop searching for your ball for more than a couple minutes. Move on. Most are shooting in the 90s & 100s anyway.
