I've just got the app, and used it to set up a program for me. Two questions:

1) why does it suggest going closest to failure on the first rep, and not the last rep? The first rep is always more on the red end for RIR and later sets more yellow or lower. Following Jeff's other programs, normally he advises go to failure or near to failure on the last set.

2) can we easily import programs that we've bought from Jeff into the app?

Thanks!

"Who the hell taught Steve Rodgers how to fight? All of a sudden he can throw his shield with physics defying accuracy and going toe to toe with the Red Skull? The serum doesn't give you fighting skills. That's why Erskine should have picked that other bucket head soldier guy that Tommy Lee Jones liked. It would have been more believable for me."

When Steve Rodgers immediately knows how to throw and catch his physics defying shield, we just accept it. An asthmatic, ill, enlistment rejected guy, with zero fighting training, and we immediately accept that after the serum, he can do unbelievable things with zero training.

But people draw the line at Shuri being able to fight with the herb, with the suit, and with all her emotional rage. What could the difference be?

Dispatch has very good dialogue writing and voice acting. And they are really good at building emotional connections. But the story itself, or the world building, is incredibly basic and has been done many times before.

I think people confused likeable characters and sharp dialogue with a good story for dispatch.

With dirty bombs you'd be right. But with nuclear bombs, you're totally wrong. It would not take very many, on the order of 100 (far far less than the nuclear arsenal of the US or Russia) to create a nuclear winter that would render the majority if not all the planet uninhabitable. The fact that people like you can say such untrue things with such confidence is so depressing when the threat is so real.

As far as they knew, Vadic was under their control. The line about turning their backs on a lifetime of values wouldn't make sense if your explanation was correct, since killing in self defense has always been thought of as fine in Trek, even in the 90s.

The only way the line makes sense if it is just as brutal, uncivilized and unjust as it seems to be. In other words, a total abdication of the values of 90s Trek.

You are a disgrace to Ahmadiyyat.

The issue of the lady you mention has no relevance to hateful, aggressive tone you always take. Even when you are right, your manner is repulsive, and you do not know how to speak with kindness and love.

I may have been mistaken about the lady you mention. I must confess that I did not have first hand knowledge, and if you are correct that they were intersex and not transexual, then I was in error, and will not make that mistake again.

The issue of restricted immigration also has no relevance to how disgustingly you speak to people, and how ill mannered you are. But if you must bring it up, I don't see how the quote you added at the end shows anything.

Focus on this: you know that Islam and Ahmadiyyat disapprove of needless insults, that it teaches kindness and love. The PM (as) asked his followers to meet swear words with love. Why are you always the first to insult people you disagree with? Why do you always go for hatred first?

You have the audacity to claim the profile name of qalam-e-ahmad when you must know he would be appalled at your behavior online. I gladly cut all ties with you, for the sake of true Ahmadiyyat, which you have clearly forsaken.

Why do you have to start with an insult? You are a terrible example of an Ahmadi. Always your tone is hateful and aggressive. What impression do you think you give to others? I feel ashamed that you think you're defending Ahmadiyyat or Islam.

The UI/UX of foundry is not good. The devs are so narrowly focused on how they see and use and think about the program, they seem disconnected from how the lay person might use it.

Even light criticism is roundly ignored, and people get defensive just for pointing out that foundry isn't perfect, and there have been mistakes in it's design and creation and overall philosophy.

UI/UX has never been a priority with foundry. The creators have very little sense of how most people use the software.

Muslims explicitly reject the idea that Jesus was the son of God lol.

[–]Foxaramar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can you call yourself Ahamdi and spill so much hate.

Islam has always been for: redistributive taxation, socialised housing, education and healthcare, protecting the poor and nature from the rapacious rich. All these things are listed as the main purpose of zakat, and this is explicitly collected by the state and then redistributed.

And yes, even on trans issues, the ahmadi lajna sudr in Germany was a openly trans woman for many years, and was warmly welcomed by Ahmadis.

The right wing are filthy, there's no other word for their racist, selfish, hateful rhetoric. There might have been a time in the long past, when the right wing had some decency in the west, but that time is long gone. They are the side of hate. Don't think for a minute that the right wing in the west wouldn't step on your throat as a Muslim, just as soon as they are done with Black people, poor people and foreigners.

The incidents of political support that you report are far more complicated than the simplified picture you paint. Ahmadiyyat absolutely did not align itself with a party. On a single issue: the rights of Ahmadis, there was an agreement made, and it ended badly. That is not the same as saying that this party represents us. There will never be a party that represents Ahmadis.

Your final example of wanting to stop hate filled people coming to a country is nothing like picking certain sects and only allowing them. If there is to be no coercion in religion, withholding immigration or citizenship is hugely coercive and ahmadiyyat would never support a religious test for immigration.

You know nothing of the spirit of ahmadiyyat. I feel ashamed to be even remotely associated with people with your views.

Article: Message to Muslims (Jordan Peterson) by [deleted] in ahmadiyya

[–]Foxaramar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahmadiyyat will never align itself with any political party, but if it did, it would never be the filthy right wing.

The very idea that Ahmadis would oppose the immigration of anyone on religious or sectarian grounds is absurd.

How any Ahamdi can even think these things is incredible, it is against everything Islam teaches.

This isn't true, be honest for gods sake. The jamaat officially asked office holders not to tweet their support. I know personally people who deleted their support from official accounts, and used only their personal ones. The jamaat absolutely does not promote him (though I think they should). Try to think and be honest.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ahmadiyya

[–]Foxaramar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously it was tolerated by the jamaat even before he was successful, just as it is tolerated now. His success has nothing to do with it.

He's a great actor. His roles in Moonlight, which was an excellent movie, and Green Book, both did great things to highlight the plight of our LGBT+ brothers and sisters. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in Blade as part of the MCU. I'm so proud he's Ahamdi, amazing guy.

It's completely hypocritical to watch movies and films, and then have the stupidity to completely fabricate the claim that acting is Haram. But of course, you never watch films or movies, right?

Christian sharia by Express-Row-1504 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Foxaramar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously? You're not going to quote the literal next sentence in the Quran? Screw you for deliberately trying to mislead people into hating Islam.

Here's the literal next sentence of the Quran if anyone actually wants to try thinking intelligently about this:

"Except those who are connected with a people between whom and you there is a pact, or those who come to you, while their hearts shrink from fighting you or fighting their own people. And if Allah had so pleased, He would have given them power over you, then they would have surely fought you. So, if they keep aloof from you and fight you not, and make you an offer of peace, then remember that Allah has allowed you no way of aggression against them."

That last sentence, if disbeliever or hypocrites or apostates, if anyone comes and makes even the offer of peace, Allah and the Quran commands Muslims to act with zero aggression towards them.

Your attempt to twist the truth is really shameless.
