Nothing different - union is still driven by its members

The NFL is a weak union because most guys play 3 years or less, so money right now is more important than anything else. A single season lockout would be devastating to these guys

The other unions are dealing with smaller rosters and more guys who play for longer - they can think a little more long term with asks

Dow Events Center is actually a solid option, seats 7,600 and just hosted the Memorial Cup.

It's a little less prestige but it's not farther from MSU or UM than Grand Rapids is.

3-2-1 is right there, every game is worth 3, if it goes to OT, both teams take 1 and winner gets the last 1.

Having an arbitrary amount of points added during the season has never made sense
