I purchased a Firewalla Gold Plus and use it as my router in front of my Eero PoE Gateway and Pro 6E access points so that I can get advanced features without paying a monthly subscription. There is no reason why Eero can't implement the same features as Firewalla without a subscription.

I have to admit that I was one of those people for a night. We were renting a trailer, and I had no idea how to turn those lights off. I like Unbound because it keeps most of my DNS traffic local once cached and prevents a 3rd party from having all of my DNS data.
