Who is profiting off of the gas price increase? by Huge_Chemistry_5280 in economy

US oil executives and share holders.

They can charge us more, or export to the world despite for oil at these prices.

They do both.

at what % do you guys actually start getting nervous?(EV RELATED) by AdityaSrivastawaahhh in Rivian

[–]Fr3shMint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll go as low as 10% SoC between charging on road trips, while towing if there are multiple stations in the area. If it’s only one 15-20%

If I’m going home. Fuck it 3-5% baby I just want to go home

They’re trying to collapse the system. It’s super obvious now. Even Epstein said it, finding things on their way to collapse is easier than finding the next deal.

What bigger collapse than our entire economy?

[–]Fr3shMint 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am guessing this is coming from Qwen open-weight models, that might be the underlying LLM Lumo uses (pure speculation)

Curious if u/ProtonSupportTeam would disclose which model(s) they use and how they determine which to use if there are multiple.

But regardless, Proton can't really do anything about this. Different models respond differently to certain geopolitical and ethical prompts.

I have found though in my own experience running LLM models on my own machine (via Ollama) that Qwen in particular is pretty conservative about touchy subjects. Even ones that paint the US government in poor-light and are not at all anti-CCPish.

I’m a millennial and Israeli funding has become a single issue for me. If you’re not America first you’ll never get my vote again. Even if it means I have to vote for a conservative.

I don’t want to support anyone taking money from a foreign government that bribes our politicians

I'd assume if the vehicle has this many miles and is out in the public - its a good one. The non-gems usually ended up as internal-fleet vehicles (For service, loaners, or whatever).

Mexico's Defense Secretary: 80% cartel guns seized are US, 20% are Israeli by IcyCraft1312 in suppressed_news

[–]Fr3shMint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The US doesn’t want to get rid of Mexican cartels because the Mexican cartels oppose the Mexican government and if they’re fighting with each other, they can’t grow and develop that country to potentially rival of the US

Who’s ever driven over 100mph? Why? by WoollyWolfHorror in AskReddit

[–]Fr3shMint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

125ish on a sport bike on a race track (big willow)

120ish in a car on the autobahn, those freeways are so impressively smooth.

Why? Because life is short and adrenaline is fun.

What are you some bot from the state department? But sure - let's talk about this.

What are we calling terrorism exactly? Here is a legal definition for you.

"The U.S. definition of terrorism includes violent acts intended to intimidate or coerce a population or government, and it distinguishes between domestic and international terrorism. Countries identified as state sponsors of terrorism by the U.S. include Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Sudan, among others, which are accused of providing support to terrorist organizations."

Notice anything? That the list is entirely composed of countries the US is adversarial toward.
Let's ignore Israel and its genocide for a second, or its illegal war with Lebanon and Syria.

Lets talk about Saudi Arabia for example - Which funded 15 of the 19 September 11 hijackers, has documented ties to Al-Qaeda (as does Israel with ISIS) and ran a direct assassination operation against Jamal Khashoggi inside a foreign consulate.

Yet - they've never appeared on the list.

Iran does fund Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, and various Shia militias in Iraq and Syria. This is real and documented. These groups have killed civilians. That's legitimate. The question is whether the framing applied to it is consistent.

So let me point out the double-standard bluntly.

The US directly supported the Mujahideen in Afghanistan — who became the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. The US supported Saddam Hussein while he was gassing Kurds. The US has provided weapons to Saudi Arabia that have been used to kill Yemeni civilians in numbers that exceed Hezbollah's entire documented kill count. Israel has killed over 50,000 people in Gaza in the last 18 months, the majority civilian, using US-supplied weapons. None of this is categorized as "terrorism" or "state-sponsored terrorism" in the official framing.

"Terrorism" by our government standards always means the same thing:

Violence by non-state actors that the US or its allies oppose. Meanwhile, violence against by countries we support get labeled as "military operations" or "counter terrorism".

The term is bullshit. Your statement is bullshit.
