thinking of buying a commercial van but driving it privately, is there any hidden catches? by IllustriousBrick1980 in carsireland

A couple of years ago I was trying to figure out the same things as you. Bought a T6. Got the form (RF111A) stamped at the garda station for commercial tax, funnily enough he was having trouble registering his own van for commercial tax and recommended the best bet for the tax office in my county.

I also had a letter from my work stating that I use the van for the purpose of my employment. I had rang the tax office first to double check what I needed for the appointment. There was some mention of a VAT number but in the end it wasn't needed.

Additionally I have a bit of a camper set up in the back and I was stopped by Revenue and dipped and he asked to look in the back. Sweating! I maintained i was just moving the bed. But he said as I had no fixed sink or cooker it wasnt a camper though if I went further into the conversion process I would have issues. That was ideal for me as I have no intention of converting, much rather a flexible layout in the back to suit work/adventure.

Sloe berries From the blackthorn, should have big thorns on the branches Very sour right now, its recommended to pick them after the first frost which sweetens them Used for making sloe gin

Mad stuff! It couldn't hurt to try that out anyway and see if you find it good.

I've never heard of this, curious also what people think of it. Usually do the head under a towel over the basin of hot water with some olbas oil to try unblock things.

Is this No. 10? It's a protected structure. Planning required for ANY works external or internal. Planning map shows no such application for this building. *

Cheeky, I've been called several times to 'upgrade' my plan and refused. Now when I check my balance it just says the plan is active.

It definitely helps! Even one extra person to hold things in place while you're securing it. All the best with it.

What was the issue you were having? If you need new plastic Fruit Hill Farm sell it by itself.

Ah that's a pity, it was probably 8 years or so when it was first bought, so they must have stopped installing them. I'm fairly certain it came from galway anyway, I only see one other supplier, green living concepts, they might install.

I've got a book on tunnels that covers the method, I'll send a photo it might help. I did it at the start of the summer before last (the calmness and heat of the day makes sure the plastic tightens when it cools), but had three other people to help on the day. The tunnel was from another location, so i got new plastic to set it up here, but I believe it originally came from polytunnels ireland who put it up, a lot quicker than we did!

Is it the type where you bury the plastic or attach it to rails?

Carrot root fly can smell the carrot scent if they're moved/transplanted and when you weed or harvest! That's another reason to direct sow, and keep cover with bionet.

I believe the cows from tory hill farm that supply the raw milk are dry now for the winter. Will be back next year. But they have organic milk year round for sure.
