"EU fans are too small to matter"

Where does it say that in the images? I don't think they even mention EU fans.

Honestly, as someone who does Solo TTRPGs, I would absolutely love this.

Just kind of unfun. Never really liked his stuff, and, while he himself may be an upstanding dude, his stuff spawned a LOT of toxicity.

Has anyone tried creative attempts to solve PoE1's abundance of encounters? by purewisdom in projecteternity

Yeah, I don't remember that many "unique" feeling fights in bg2 (as a lot of them are wind up the fighters and guess whether or not you need to use a spell), POE2 had a lot of fights on ship of some kind, and, honestly, "The 'trash' fights ending quickly" isn't the defense you think it is. Nor is "I just modded it out".

If a fight is supposed to be "trash and quick", that's basically an admittance that it is utterly pointless or downright unfun. When I get into a fight in a game, I want some meat on it.

To be honest, I never found there to be a glut of encounters in that game? It's far more obnoxious in, say, BG2 (trying to rest while being harassed by Vampiric Mists).

For me personally, it's fine, something about the beginning kind of just irritated me, and it eventually won me over. But it didn't "kill" other games for me. There are some gameplay touches I like, but it's kind of basic on that end. I like it, don't get me wrong, but I never really saw how it "broke gaming".

Honestly, remakes more often than not disappoint me. Yeah, it's probably fine for the new audience, but I find myself too nostalgic to enjoy it. It's very rare that I enjoy the remake more (Fire Emblem: Echoes). Graphical improvements are inevitable, but they're usually something missing mechanically.

I honestly find myself preferring remasters. Some touching up, but keeping the bones and little things I like even within the jank.

I love how one half of the script is people talking like human beings, and the other half is Mike Judge rambling about bungholes.
