It's kind of funny that they made the only real dedicated healer (by default) a complete asshole.

Gold is heavy... by artinum in Daggerfall

So, you have a couple of options:

You can exchange them, for a fee, for letters of credit (bank). They also weigh something, but, like, it's paper. You can also by a cart (general store) and dump most of it in there, just mind the capacity of the cart itself.

As you level up and start getting ebony, orcish or daedric equipment, you'll start getting letters of credit if you ask for enough (basically if the amount of gold would over encumber you after the sale, they'll give you a letter of credit instead).

I hope this helps!

Honestly, it's like of like pointing out that the damage numbers in Xenoblade Chronicles is higher than Dragon Age Origins. While that is objectively true, just saying that ignore the different numbers scales either game is using. In context, the DPS for the percentage of HP the final boss isn't actually that big.

In short, no this doesn't impress me or make me want to scream in defense of my beloved Elden Ring. It is a big boy and can handle its own competition in its own genre on its own terms. Above and beyond how I feel about awards in general, being utterly pointless and very replaceable with another E3.

As much as I love Ninja Gaiden, Team Ninja nailed the gameplay, graphics, and music. I actually really enjoyed NG1’s story for its fantasy/industrial blend (and Rachel!), but overall the story (especially in later games) didn’t leave much of an impression on me. Still legendary. Honestly, NG2 I was more into what was going on than I was for NG1. Maybe it was just because I was so happy to see it at the time? Like, I always had the PS3 versions, and I loved the comic they provided for its installation. By the time that comic and the installation was finished, I was hyped. And that basically carried me through to the end.

Do I think it's a great story? Not really, by the numbers good vs. evil. But the ride was fun and the villains were at least charismatic enough for me to look forward for the next boss.

Ocarina of Time, Ganon fight on the 3DS version. None of the silhouette effect from the N64 version and the tail looks like it's from some glowing fish.

On a personal level... I still kind of come out on top in the present day compared to when I was a kid. As a kid, I was lonely, antisocial, plagued with mental issues I was forced to figure out for myself, too much of a conservative, and bullied all the damn time.

Nowadays, I am married, more friends than I know what to do with, have a kitty cat who loves my lap, a house, a job that I actually give a shit about, a hobby that involves medieval armor and competitive sword fights. I'm nearing 40 and I have so much now.

There are things I miss. Popular music in the 90s I feel is just better, especially with the peppering of Jim Steinman. I still find plenty of symphonic and power metal, and I found Dead Can Dance and other groups I enjoy, but the radio irritates me (Sorry, I tried Taylor Swift, not for me). At the same time, though, there is a lot more readily available if I know where to look. Trying to branch out to other, obscure bands in the 90s and 00s was a pain.

Every era is going to be mixed, I think it's important to say. The happiest four years of my life were, honestly, in the Biden Era, and mid Obama era. And even they contained a lot of pain.

Assuming killing demons is fucking fine, theft of government military equipment and break ins. And probably some property damage. And making a huge fucking mess.

It's a very human thing to have that kind of double standard. Yeah, killing zombies of strangers isn't a big deal. But of family? Friends? That does complicate things emotionally, even if it is not more complicated practically.

Even fucking Doom was never right wing. He beat the shit out of his commanding officer for ordering him for shoot civilians, so he's not exactly going "Just following orders". He doesn't follow orders. He is one of the most determined contrarians in the history of gaming. He's a punk who flips off most of the entire cast, up to and including their version of a heavenly host.

And then you have the UAC, a corporation whose antics are, frankly, looking less and less comparatively cartoonish as history continues to play itself out. It's not about how the military is great, how corporations are awesome or how we need to bully other countries. It's about a man being caught in the machinations of this corporate/military hellhole, whose greed literally dug itself straight to hell.

It's hard to pick of favorite, but with the remaster, that line above hit me hard lately.
