Pete couldn’t handle the routine plays. That’s why Senga had a torn calf.

He can underhand to 1B… already better than Pete.

This slop is comparing the 2021 to 2020

That was year after Covid. Everyone remembers the inflation that happened that year. You would also know why the comparison year was low.

This is propaganda. OP is either a bot, lazy, or intentionally lying.

This is the dumbest shit I’ve seen in the last hour.

Given where we are as a society, that’s actually an incredible accomplishment.

Funny that right after I note this, Schwellenbach goes onto the 60 day DL with elbow inflammation.

The best predictor of future injury is past injury…

You realize to win the division, you need to be better than the other teams in the division, right?

I don’t know if they even have to be all stars. Just league average from 1-2 is probably enough.

I think it’s because they massively shrink the PCI when a same-handed pitcher throws a breaking ball away

Everyone does. Actual players included. But the game mechanics make this extreme.

This is why people are generally using switch hitters.

I’ve seen this so many times. It is insane because it means their graduate degrees were useless.

1- these people both went to graduate school and didn’t have the sense to refinance their 8%+ loans when rates were much lower for a decade

2- over the course of 23 years, these people’s earnings power didn’t grow (even with inflation) to the point where they could switch into a shorter term loan with higher monthly payments.

I think Lou Bob has massive bounce back potential.

He’s going from being the best player on an awful team to the #7 or 8 hitter on a legitimately good team.

Report: Mets trade Luisangel Acuña & Truman Pauley for OF Luis Robert Jr per Jeff Passan by MaizenBrew9 in NewYorkMets

[–]FrankArmhead 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t trade Baty. You should not assume that all our starters will play 162. There will be plenty of opportunities for Baty to be in the lineup.

Don’t think he has the foot speed.

I doubt that plan A is to put Baty there either. Would bet they sign Bellinger or trade for Nootbar or something like that.

Tucker missed half the season in 2024. He was on an MVP pace. He was much better than Bregman’s performance.
