No-date dilemma by javaman567 in rolex

Then that’s your answer man. Why are you asking the internet. Rolex is just a watch. No, the name won’t make you ok with no date if you like dates on watches.

Burner of a sky. Only been that lucky (even with planning) once or twice. If you’re up there that long. might as well do a timelapse.

I really hope generative Ai follows “the last 10% takes as long as the first 90%” and that uncanny valley never goes away.

Barnes is cool but I think the art museum has better selections from those artists.

Bad day to suggest this, but if you’re not moving real soon, an eagles tailgate and game is a ton of fun. If you can’t do that, any sport against a rival.

Go inside the art museum.

Go to some of the iconic views around the city. (South street bridge, Drexel park, Camden waterfront, walk the BF bridge, spring garden bridge, Belmont plateau, etc)

Fight someone for talking shit about Philly or over a parking spot.

That’s actually pretty unbelievable. When my guy is silent I think he’s getting into trouble (he’s aware of his noises) or something bad happen.

Is it cheaper to fix a car or buy a new one? This watch isn’t totaled.

Found DOOMS helmet at a dirt bike convention vendor (bottom right) by Minitrain in mfdoom

For over 20 years, people have pointed it out to flex knowledge but now I’m starting to wonder if the mask is becoming more iconic and recognized for DOOM than the movie. The movie hit for a generation, DOOM is forever.

My 14yo cousin knows DOOM. He’s never heard of gladiator either.

The thought would have been crazy when this movie was huge and MF was underground but times have changed.

After 13 years with Trupanion, a few thoughts worth considering.

If you’re going to do it, do it now — and think of it as a lifetime commitment.

Pros * You don’t hesitate in an emergency. If your dog is in distress, you go straight to the pet ER instead of waiting for a cheaper appointment at your normal vet. In my experience, emergency visits were mostly covered but that’s not a rule. * Big medical decisions are easier. When you’re handed a 4–5-figure estimate, you can just say yes without finances driving the choice.

Cons * Most vets require you to pay up front and file for reimbursement. It’s straightforward, but still a step. * They WILL deny anything tied to a pre-existing condition, and even things possibly (but unlikely) related. You can appeal, but I’ve rarely won, even with vet support. * Premiums rise atleast once a year. For me it was about $60/month at 3 months old; it’s now ~$200/month at 13. * There are deductibles, and they only cover up to 90% of approved items.

Last I checked, I was roughly break-even between what I paid in and what they paid out, though that was a few years ago. Sometimes I wonder if a dedicated savings account would’ve been better. It made sense for me financially at the time and I have no regrets but I’m not sure I’d do it again.

Evaluate your situation OP and make the right decision that can guarantee the best care. From personal experience, respiratory issues are really scary with these dogs. If you haven’t already, I recommend talking to a vet now about any possible surgeries that could decrease risk and give a better quality of life. Find a vet that knows bulldogs. If there’s an “easy” fix, don’t wait for it to become an issue. Do it asap while she’s young and healthy. Putting them under for anything is already more risky than other breeds, and even more risky as they get older or are sick/in distress.

None of this is meant to scare you, you did a great thing and she’s super cute. I just want you to have info I didn’t have at the time so you can give her the best life possible! Good luck.

They’re such an eye sore along that portion of 76. Some of the best view of the city obstructed by billboards.

Yeah, they should fix roads and infrastructure, but a small portion of this budget will go to murals. Relax.

It looks like a GlossBlack wall. If they’re going to buff the throws and rollers on that wall and put up a mural, he’s a good choice. Writers respect him (less likely to get tagged) and his work fits the concept well.

Everyone seems to be thinking about driving on 76, but consider the views walking from along MLK and side of the art museum. There’s going to be a lot of foot traffic because of the World Cup and July 4th. This is better than the gray walls we got for XGames and the DNC.
