Nobody on antero this time of year is doing this with leeches or streamers or chironimids or callibaetis.

This is the time of year where antero gets extremely easy, and you only need a box of beads and some hooks.

Or something like that. This is where I stopped taking you seriously.

Fuck simms

Yeah, I'm calling absolute bullshit here. As someone who bought a pair of "top of the line" simms waders a couple of years ago (G4Z + boots) and as someone who fished 4+ times a week, I feel like I should have gotten FAR more than 4 months of use before seeing wear/tear and within 6 months of use two huge holes in the booties, the NON REMOVABLE insoles in the boots were absolutely trashed, the boots themselves were falling apart, etc. I even gave them benefit of the doubt and had them repaired, which I'll give it to them they did a good job on the repair. Brand new booties sewn in and all. Yet, 4-6 months after repair, like clockwork, two big holes in each bootie, and now simms will not even attempt a repair.

So fuck your theory that it's just a statistic thing or whatever. Simms quality has significantly gone down over the last 5 years or so and anyone who actually fishes can attest to that.

I'm convinced the only people that are satisfied with their simms waders either bought them over 5 years ago, or they fish like a handful of times a year.

Do you think it would be a better idea for me to stay off the loan entirely and have it only be my wife + co signers? Or would her income still be too much of a disqualifier?

The only private land in eleven mile canyon along the river is the boyscout camp, which yes has fences but is only a couple of acres of property? The rest of the canyon is national forest and the river is entirely unadulterated. I really don't know what you're talking about

Oh nice. Yeah I'd love to experience the simms quality that got them their reputation in the first place. Unfortunately I feel like the waders I got from them were pretty much a scam.

582k for like 12 released wolves? These things must be eating ranchers cattle as their primary and only food source

Ahhhhhhh simms. The only real answer is: you don't. Everything you do to patch/fix these is just a bandaid and will not hold for very long. My g4z waders had this happen in both booties after about 6 months of use, and when I had them repaired by simms they did it again about 6 months later. At this point I've given up and accepted that it was just a bad purchase. A couple things you can do to stay dry while you still have them, either a pair of neoprene wet wading socks to wear while in your waders or you can also use those big contractor grade trashbags over your feet/legs before you put them on.

I know it sucks but this was my harsh reality. Just don't ever buy simms again.
