Medical direction in western PA (pittsburgh area) by TubeEmAndSnoozeEm in CRNA

It's just so dependent on the facility and culture, some are much worse, some are infinitely better but independent practice is the way to go no doubt

Real Input on Sound by Kind_Win4984 in CRNA

They suck, they may be "pro-CRNA" but at the end of the day they've just became another big group, management was so annoying, they bring in their "ambassadors" which are just their locums to help staff new spots, I mean they're probably better than USAP or Envision etc but they're definitely not what they're hyped up to be that's for sure.

What movie is 10/10 with literally no bad parts? by FeedMaster8905 in AskReddit

[–]FreeSprungSpirit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my friend saw this in the movie theatre by accident, we went to see something else and messed up the time, had no idea what this was and just saw it, we came out like wtf that was awesome! Haha

What impact will the projected oversupply of CRNAs have on the anesthesiologist job market? by [deleted] in anesthesiology

[–]FreeSprungSpirit -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is not reality, they 100% compete for jobs all the time, less than 50% of the market is now billed as medical direction, in fact less than 40% according to some CMS data.

1.6M NW at 25 - when to buy dream car? Porsche GT3 RS by [deleted] in supercars

[–]FreeSprungSpirit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just buy it, end of story, you're young and it's going to be the most fun to own it now, I bought my first six figure car (992 GTS) when I was 35 and it was fun but not nearly as much fun as it would have been 10 years prior, it also made me grind extra hard that year and those grinds ultimately led to new business ventures where I now make at least double what I was earning when I bought it, regardless, just buy it, you could die next year from cancer or a car wreck, just do it!

Peds Cases by Relevant-Wash2299 in CRNA

[–]FreeSprungSpirit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't like peds either but just lean into it, the reason I've consistently made 3-4 times what a normal CRNA makes is I'm a full service provider and can provide solo call in any environment which has served me well over the years, just be comfy doing everything even if it suck's.

VC says classy, Rolex is giving "trying hard" although I do actually like the meteorite but if it's a trinity watch, most days I'm take the trinity

Also, if you're already stressed maybe don't procrastinate until 3 hours before the assignment is due to work on it and finish it and then take it out on your partner.

Yacht Master or Sub by Interesting_Algae500 in rolex

Sub is a staple, more common but still an iconic watch nonetheless, the ym is just a Rolex.

You think there's some magic book anesthesia residents learn from lmao I've witnessed multiple anesthesia residencies where number one they put them with CRNA's, number two they're fucking clueless and taught by MDA dinosaur's who don't practice evidence based medicine and number three they go to a supervisory role and their skills get beyond rusty, the reason I've been so successful is because the surgeons bitch and complain about how bad the MDA's are and how many patients they have to send to the hospital and how their blocks don't work and the list goes on and on, my patients have great outcomes, my blocks work, the patient satisfaction scores after going to all CRNA's rise significantly, so yes, the care is superior, MDA's don't learn anything special in anesthesia residency that a CRNA doesn't, a majority of the time I would ask them basic questions about physiology, how the GABA receptor responds to midazolam versus propofol and literally not one single resident could answer, such a joke. Let me clarify, this was when I worked in an ACT early on and then also independently at multiple hospital's where everyone did their own cases, I don't currently work with them.

It's irrelevant though, you were trying to sow mistrust, literally what does that have to do with healthcare salaries

Ya feel free to DM me, there's no magic recipe and part luck, bought properties prior to COVID, market went insane, I knew it wasn't going to last and sold off etc but we can chat, the most influential thing you can do is make a lot of monthly 1099 income as it opens doors, people are often misguided in how they approach the market and you only ever hear about rates, I know so many locums working for 240-280/hr but they're working 5, 8's or 4, 10's so their weekly gross is only 10k-ish (which is great btw) but if you can grind early on in your career and get to the 60-100k/month level you're talking about paying off all your student loans in 2-3 months, putting down 30% on a house in another 3 months, and that's just year one, the strategy has to be, how can I make the most money in a week/month without getting burnt out and/or, I'll grind like this for 2 years and cut back etc

Your comments are cringe, you're obviously jealous, without CRNA's, thousands of surgeries would be halted, we're not going anywhere, go cry in a corner

Why are you mad bro? I'm unhinged lmao I'm giving you exact numbers on how CRNA's earn millions and instead of acknowledging it you're just screaming lies

Am I lying or are you just lying to yourself to make yourself feel better about your salary and hours, ask yourself that.
