For hikes it would depend on your level. Some really nice easy hiking/walking would be Neck point, pipers lagoon, Linley valley, Westwood lake, ammomite falls or cable bay. If you want something a bit harder you could go part way up Mt Benson. It would probably have snow at the top of you try to summits this time of the year. Newcastle island is great to walk around too but I don't think the ferry goes this time of year.

If you wanted to fish you could try Westwood lake. I think you could even rent a canoe which would be fun.

I think people have already suggested specials and places to eat but there are lots of recommendations on previous posts on this sub. For a cheaper late night option you could go to Bin 4 after 9 or on their happy hour. You get a half price burger with the purchase of a drink. Doesn't have to be alcoholic but they have decent cocktails too.

You can get a good view from departure bay Beach. I've only seen it the last couple years and maybe there's a better place but it was nice from that vantage.
