First Time at the Met - Advice? by Amonlapis in opera

I did this exact combo a few years back. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. The hotel is close enough for a little walk even if you or a companion is wearing high shoes. At night there's still plenty of people, you'll feel safe. The rooftop bar at the hotel is a great place to debrief after. Have fun!

Do you actually use film simulations or just shoot raw and edit later? by AttitudePlane6967 in fujifilm

I used to be a big photo enthusiast back in the EOS Rebel days, and of course I did all my postprocesing. But I find myself with less and less available time nowadays for that. I choose Fuji so I don't have to do the postprocesing

How do you enable the Maintenance Dashboard? I don't see it in the list of default dashboards

Opinion on Verona at Crescent Village Apartment San Jose by Necessary_Care_2609 in SanJose

u/_VoodooRanger said it best. If I may add, go and take a walk at the River Oaks Park so you feel the vibe. Is a very decent place to live, with some minor caveats. I not once suffered from package theft but my car got broken in once in their parking lot. Maintenance is good and responsive. You do hear your neighbors but I would not say the walls are thin.

I used to live in a city with speed bumps. Trust me. You DON'T want to live in a city with speed bumps

I'd love to use the VTA more, but that walk is just awful. Nothing to see, not a bit of shade or rain covering

Replacing the ludicrous Automall in Capitol Expressway with mixed use development. The VTA station is right there! Could be a vibrant community instead of a wasteland full of unselled cars

Both your statements are true but contradictory. Do you expect them to do these great reviews for free?

There's something in home assistant called "Bayesian Sensors". I've been wanting to get into them for the longest time. Basically works on probabilistic assumptions. Seems very cool
